Pokemon - A real story

There is a huge gap between the story of anime and the realistic story of Pokemon. This light novel closes that gap and gives the viewers a believable and exciting story with lots of adventure. Follow our protagonist Axel Blaze, a reincarnated person. With his knowledge of the previous Pokemon world, he hopes to dominate the world. But after he realizes how very wrong he was. This novel has a system, just to make things fun, the story is not focused on it though. "Success is like being pregnant, everyone says congratulations but nobody knows how many times you were fucked" So this novel tells the story of Axel blaze but all points of hidden difficulty he has to face to get it to there. -------- If you want to read advanced chapters earlier or just want to support me, you can do that at https://www.patreon.com/TheSilverPrince1 You can also visit my website and read 3 advanced chapters for free at: https://silver-prince.com/ (The story has a similar start as 'Pokemon - a mystical journey' so some people are probably confused. I wanted to say that only the beginning of the story is similar, not the later chapters and this story is not a copy.) Disclaimer: This is a fanfiction novel. So, the basics of the Pokemon world is not created by me. It belongs to "The Pokémon company".

Overcoming Fear

Pokemon POV start:

The move 'Iron Tail' had not affected Shedinja, but it was flown from the impact and struck the tree. It had already used 'Harden' and 'Endure' to tank the hit.

It took some time to be battle-ready. It was starting to hate itself. Why was it so weak? Axel had not let it fight Pokémon alone. He had always told it to partner up with Nidorino. It didn't have any problem with this, but it showed that Axel didn't trust it. It also could not blame Axel because it knew that it had very little HP, and Axel just wanted to protect it.

But it was the Knight of the team. How could it be the Knight if it could not even protect itself?

It had had it all. It was not going to live like this. If it was going to die, then it would die with a bang. How could such a weak Pokémon like Steelix beat it?

Shedinja was not arrogant like Charizard. It was very mature, but it had its pride. It was called the boss of its team, so it didn't want others to think that it was weak. It had to prove itself now. So, it had decided to battle this Steelix on its own and show all of them who was the boss.

It used 'Agility' four times, 'Harden' three times, 'Substitute' to call out two other Shedinjas, and got ready for battle. It came near Nidorino and Steelix and said to Nidorino, "Nido, take rest. I got this."

"Are you sure, boss? This motherfucker is strong," asked Nidorino.

"Don't worry. Just go and help others. This Steelix has interested me quite a bit."

"Boss is angry. This motherfucker is going down. Haha, I can't wait to see it. Ok boss, I will leave it to you," said Nidorino and moved to fight Magmar.

Pokemon POV end

###

"Nidorino, why are you not helping Shedinja? What happened?" shouted Axel.

Nidorino growled and said something, but Axel could not understand it.

'Marcus had said that it wanted to battle Steelix by itself,' said Alakazam to Axel in his mind.

"But can he do it?" asked Axel. He was worried about Shedinja.

'Axel, you need to trust Marcus more. It trains very hard, and you know that you cannot protect it all the time,' said Alakazam.

"I know, but it is still risky."

'Then train it more so that it would not be risky next time. Now just trust it.'

Axel nodded in understanding.

Shedinja was fast for Steelix. With its 'Agility' and Steelix's massive body, Steelix could not even catch it. But Steelix also had some moves for it.

It started to use 'Hypnosis' to make it faint and finish it up, but that was not going so well. Steelix was not affected even a little bit. Its passive move was not for show.

After using 'Hypnosis' for a couple of times and seeing no result, it gave up that idea. It started to use 'Shadow Control'. Black tentacles made of shadow of Steelix started to surround it and bind it. Since Steelix was extremely big, around 13 feet tall, 'Shadow Control' looked stronger as Shedinja was able to gather more shadow.

It then used 'Gravity' to suppress Steelix. With its massive body, 'Gravity' had a huge impact on its movement. After it was completely immobile, Shedinja used 'Shadow Ball' towards Steelix.

This 'Shadow Ball' was perfect in shape and it was deadly. The attack did hit Steelix, but it didn't seem to have much effect on it. It roared from the top of its lungs and came out of 'Shadow Control'.

It straightened itself using all of its power and fired a 'Hyper Beam'. 'Hyper Beam' would have no effect on Shedinja, but it didn't want to tank that hit. The force of it would send it far away.

It used 'Switch' and switched with one of the substitutes. The substitute was flown away from the attack. Shedinja knew that its most powerful attack was 'Shadow Ball'. It tried to use 'Bug Buzz', but the effect on Steelix was very minuscule.

It had to do something if it wanted to win this fight. 'Shadow Ball' was having no significant damage, and Steelix had 'Crunch' and other rock-type moves to deal with it.

Its best bet was 'Shadow Ball'. If it could further improve its 'Shadow Ball', then it would have a fighting chance. It had been trying to do so for the past 10 days. It wanted 'Shadow Ball' to be like Nidorino's 'Spinning Poison'.

It didn't need it to be exactly like that. That move would take a lot of time, and Shedinja wanted its move to be fast. So, what if it could just rotate 'Shadow Ball' in one direction extremely fast? That would increase its power.

That was what it had been doing for the past 10 days. There was some progress, but it was not up to the mark. Even now when it was spamming 'Shadow Ball', it was training.

Steelix jumped and used 'Dig'. It went inside and came out to hit Shedinja. This was a ground-type move which did nothing to it. As Shedinja was trying to use the 'Shadow Ball' again, Steelix used 'Stone Edge'. This was a rock-type move and super effective against it.

Shedinja started to dodge the attack, but the attack was so sudden that it could not dodge all of it. When it was about to be hit, it used 'Switch' to switch with one of its substitutes.

That was a close call. It didn't like it when it was underestimated. It started to make 'Shadow Ball'. A dark ball made of shadow came out, and it started to spin in a clockwise direction, and then it threw the ball.

BOOOMMMMM

---

Ding!

Marcus's Shadow Ball has leveled up to 46. It can now spin the shadow ball for additional damage.

---

"Hmm.. So for every 5 levels, the move needs to be improved," thought Axel.

Steelix was on the right side, and the 'Shadow Ball' landed on the left side. Due to the spinning of the attack, Shedinja could not control the direction of the attack.

But Shedinja was a fast learner, and that attack was way more powerful than before.

It might have the chance to beat Steelix now.
