S2E9:Elesia

"So you seem to actually be good kid but are you good enough to pull of a shocking victory over me?" asked a yellow haired lady in a yellow dress. "The names Elesia and I'll be shocked if you can beat me and Misty."

"Can we get this over with I'm starting to get a bit hungry." teased Foxx in hopes to mentally throw her off her game.

"Fine." huffed Elesia before throwing out a pokeball and shouting, "Go Zebstrika!"

"Joy Firestorm." replied Foxx.

Now this battle was well balanced and very even for neither one had a type advantage. As the battle carried on Brock found a spot next to Misty who'd seemed like something was bothering her.

"So you're afraid she'll win and then you'll loose." sighed Brock after watching the battle for a bit.

"What? Why do you say that?" asked Misty defensively.

"We've traveled across the whole Kanto region along side of ash. I know when something is bothering you and seeing as you're the only one left to fight after Elesia it must be that." explained Brock.

"He's beaten all of them and now it looks like he'll even beat her. Yes I have a type advantage but his eevee is full of surprises and could easily while out my whole team." sighed Misty.

"If I tell you something you can't use it against him in battle," replied Brock, "You see while Foxx was a part of the Battle On The Train tournament he faced a Blastoise with his Vulpix. The two went all out and he almost killed the trainer's pokemon. After that he has restricted himself."

"So he might not fight to his fullest against me?" sighed Misty.

"I know you wish to win and prove you deserve to be a gym leader among all of the ladies but you've already done more then any of them just in your travels with Ash." explained Brock, "So put your worries aside and let's watch this battle then get you ready for your turn."

"Thanks Brock." replied Misty with a smile.

The two the watched the fight as Joy took down the first pokemon of Elesia's and did a good amount of damage to the second but had to recall her and hope eevee had it in her to bring the victory.

In the end he used his knowledge of types to end up shorting her remaining two pokemon out. With a smile Elesia walked over and handed Foxx Bolt Badge, and saying, "Well done kid I guess there's only one of us left."
