Anna walked into a five-star restaurant in the city center. The flaming red high heels accompanied her elegant yet firm footsteps. The sexy dress in matching color with a slightly low cleavage perfectly adheres to her beautiful and curvy body. The glam makeup looks and sunglasses attached to her face are enough to explain that the woman's face is very beautiful and classy like a world celebrity who has tremendous popularity.
The people inside the restaurant were immediately surprised by Anna's arrival and made the woman the center of attention in an instant. There are a lot of beautiful women in this restaurant, but the aura and charisma that is emitted by Anna are truly extraordinary and truly unusual to be considered playing games. It feels like you can't take your attention away from Anna's charm. Starting from the gesture shown to the voice that came out of Anna's mouth, it really has its own charm and charm. Therefore she immediately became the center of attention not long after her appearance at this restaurant.
Anna pulled her tight dress uncomfortably because in fact she had never worn clothes like this in her life, but Laura continued to force her to change her appearance to make it look like her friend's everyday appearance. A short message entered Anna's cell phone and she immediately checked the message. It turned out that Laura told her about the characteristics of the man she would meet today. The man has a height of 6'1 feet, aka 185 cm more, black hair, pale white skin, broad shoulders, long and long legs, a geeky and unattractive appearance, maybe he wears thick braces and glasses. That man does not have an unknown name. Anna frowned in confusion. She didn't understand why Laura would describe that man with such a strange explanation. Yet she could have done a much easier thing by giving her a photo of that man than having to explain that man's features at such length.
"Welcome, can I help you?" Asked a servant to Anna.
"I booked a table on behalf of Laura Charlotte Dawson." Anna answered politely.
"Please follow me, Ms Dawson." Said the waiter politely.
Anna walked following the waitress while paying attention to the details of this luxurious restaurant. This was the first time she had entered a restaurant like this because she was not someone from a financially capable class. Never mind eating in fancy restaurants like this, she still has a headache to stay to eat everyday. Moreover, living in luxury like the life of her best friend, Laura. But despite all the burdens of life that she has borne during her life, Anna still feels grateful.
At least she still has people who love her. She has a younger brother who loves her unconditionally, a loyal friend, a place to take shelter from rain and heat, a job that can support her life and her younger brother's life and most importantly she can breathe and live a good life. Even though it is not as perfect as other people's lives, Anna is still always grateful for her life. She thought there were still a lot of people who were not as fortunate as she was so she should not live with grievances and gratitude because God doesn't like people who complain a lot and are not grateful.
"Thank you." said Anna to the waiter who led her to an empty table.
Anna sat awkwardly on the empty chair. Honestly, she felt nervous and scared. What if that man who was going to meet her realized the awkwardness of her? Or what if later this man was angry because she and Laura had tricked him? Is she going to jail for fraud? Anna exhaled roughly as she took off her sunglasses. Whatever happens next she must still succeed. If that fails, she will immediately apologize to that man later.
"Did I just tell him the truth?" Anna asked herself.
"Tell me what?" Asked a man who suddenly sat opposite Anna.
Anna gasped as she looked at that man with a surprised look. She never imagined that she would meet a man who looked geeky and boring but handsome at the same time. The traits that Laura wrote down are completely specific except for the thick sections of braces and glasses. She meant that the man was wearing glasses, but not as thick as Laura said. But more and more views, he looks more clean and tidy than geeky and boring. Hmmm, maybe the word geeky is a little suitable for the image of that man who looks organized and neat but overall this man still looks normal.
That man immediately sat on the chair in front of Anna, looking at Anna with a sweet smile. For some reason, Anna felt that this man was hiding so many things behind his neat and clean appearance. Anna looked at that man with a probing gaze. She had to thoroughly assess this man before her best friend actually met this man. Anna doesn't want her best friend to get caught in a bad marriage because Laura is considered like her own brother so as much as possible she will protect Laura from the bad possibilities that could happen in the future.
"Nice to meet you, Ms. Laura." Said the man politely.
"Nice to meet you too, Mr. Mmm anonymous." Anna answered, looking at the man.
That man smiled as he looked at Anna. From behind his glasses, he could see some information about Anna and a message saying that he was forbidden to reveal his true identity to the woman he met and he was also prohibited from acting strange which could raise suspicions that would be fatal to his job. The man looked at Anna once again with uncertain feelings. He knew that Anna was lying to him because he had seen the real Laura before so he knew that this would happen today.
"You must be surprised to have to meet an anonymous stranger today." Said the man with a smile.
"You already know the answer." Said Anna calmly and politely.
"Let me guess, you must not agree with this matchmaking." Said the man.
"Let me be clear. Everyone will definitely disagree if their parents suddenly match themselves with someone they have never met before, especially if that person is totally foreigner." Said Anna seriously and firmly.
"Right, I agree with that too." Said the man seriously.
"I don't even know your name and personality so we can't have a serious relationship like marriage. We both know that marriage is not something that is easy to live for." Said Anna to the point.
"So, that is your personal opinion about this matchmaking?" Asked the man who began to feel attracted to Anna.
"Yes, I don't think this is the right thing to do." Anna answered carefully.
"What does Laura think about this?" Asked the man while looking at Anna with a serious gaze.
"You know?" Asked Anna in surprise.
"Of course." The man replied with a smile.
"You're going to sue me for this?" Asked Anna worriedly.
The man just smiled while linking his fingertips on the table. From behind his glasses continued to appear several orders that prohibited the man from continuing this topic any further. There was even some warning that he could feel through the device attached to his leg. Anna looked at the man with both fear and worry. This is completely beyond his expectations. He meant that he had thought of the worst that could happen to this, but he had not thought about the consequences he would receive from this incident.
"I don't think so now." The man replied with a sweet smile.
"You mean?" Asked Anna anxiously.
"I will think about whether I will forgive you for this lie or bring this to justice for fraud cases. My decision depends on what action you will take." Answer the man seriously.
Anna let out a harsh breath while looking at the man with a pleading look. "Please, forgive me. I can explain this misunderstanding to you." Said Anna regretfully.
"Ok." Answer the man calmly.
"I'm not Laura and I'm sorry about this incident. Laura asked me for help because she did not want this match. She offered me a deal and I agreed with this." Said Anna seriously.
"She should have come over here and told me directly." Said the man, looking at Anna.
"Yes, I know and I'm sorry." Said Anna sincerely.
"Then let's meet again and I'll decide to forgive you or not." The man replied with a smile.
