 Finishing his review of stats and items, Nova grabbed the first book in the row, a thick book with a deep red cover, its title was "Fire Level 1, Fireball".

Looking at the book held by his right hand, Nova with his free hand gently grasped his new Earrings, which were dangling in his lobe.

 Not much had changed since they had awakened, they just seemed brighter and more unique, giving a fantastic appearance.

 'We'll see this passive...', dropping his earrings, Nova opened the book he was holding, glancing at it.

 Unbeknownst to him, the earrings glowed slightly as he began to read, accelerating his information processing speed.

 In only ten seconds, Nova turned from page to page, the speed with which he was reading made the people who were looking at him wonder if such a vagabond did not know how to read or if he had a bigger mental problem than they had previously thought.

 He was learning a spell in just minutes, whereas some would take months to read and understand it, plus another few months to use it.

 But Nova was reading and comprehending the information in seconds!

 Such a feat was almost impossible to see, which is why the citizens, some seeing such a scenario, couldn't help but mutter the waste of money on those books if he couldn't even read or didn't put effort into reading.

 "What a pathetic man..."

 "A total waste of money."

 "Possibly, he had that fortune to pick up those earrings and the skill books, what luck, tsk, tsk."

 Whispers and conversations spread, many of pity, one of envy.

 The people near the benches couldn't help but focus their attention on Nova.

 The reason they didn't ignore Nova was because of his unique features, earrings that look extremely luxurious and no one had ever seen him before, making him new to the city.
