Chapter 10: Moon Earrings (II)

Quickly, he came to the front of the Chest, thrusting the iron sword into the ground. Nova proceeded to reach out with both hands towards the black chest.

Inside the Chest, two earrings were visible, two long moon-shaped earrings.

Their color was an intense, but soft, silver, with a chain before reaching the waning and waxing Moon they were dangling.

There was nothing but four extremely sharp red bull horns lying on the ground, from them a small trail of blood was falling, making Nova shudder.

"I... Did I kill that?" questioned Nova now feeling like throwing up.

From a very young age he had been locked in his room, he had never witnessed blood nor had he ever witnessed such a large beast expelling so much.

For a moment he had a strong urge to vomit, before suppressing it and swallowing.

He didn't want to be a weak person anymore, he had to see this scenario and live with it, that he was responsible for this, because according to his speculations, death was going to be the bread and butter for him.

Maybe it's because of the adrenaline, but he wasn't him when he was killing these beasts, a strong need to kill and survive settled in him so he could kill the Beasts.

But after the action and adrenaline, now he was like this, nauseous and wanting to vomit.

Extending the sword, he put the tip of it directly into his ear.

Gritting his teeth, with his free hand he grabbed his ear to hold it steady, and in one swift movement, pierced his lobe, making a slightly larger hole than normal.

He said nothing, only clenched his teeth tighter, as he pierced the other lobe, finishing the job.

At this point, his forehead was drenched with sweat, still, he could do nothing but wipe the sweat with his forearm and resist the burning pain.

But he was not going to waste any time, the orange sky was slowly turning into a dark and black sky.

'I must fetch the two beast stones from these Bulls,' Nova thought, shuddering a little at the thought of pulling the famous beast stones from their dead bodies.

Holding her weapon bravely and courageously, even though he was shaking like an earthquake, he managed to advance to the largest Flaming Bull, the Dominating Bull.

In the game, level 1 beasts always have the Stones Of Power in their heads, as the first Bull's head was already shattered and bruised, Nova just cut a little, averting his sights and using his memory to find the stone.

'Bingo,' Nova internally shouted, to get the stone out of his head, he didn't even see it, the disgust he had now was extreme, so he could only put it in his almost completely burned pants pocket.

He did the same procedure with the other Bull, which was smaller, so it was easier to destroy its head, without seeing and looking away as usual.

With two stones in his pocket, Nova sighed relieved and tired, to return to where the chest was, still open.

Grabbing the two Moon Earrings again, he put them both on each.

"Damn, now my whole body hurts," Nova cursed through gritted teeth and a frown of annoyance.

After losing the adrenaline, the pain of impacting with the tree after a big explosion, the relatively deep cut in his abdomen from the Toro and now piercing his lobes, the pain was too much for someone who lived his whole life almost pain-free.

But still, he resisted removing the silver objects that were in freshly pierced lobes.
