Wrong Answer

"What craziness are you spouting now? Who has been feeding you such nonsense?" King Gregory asked, his eyes narrowed into tiny slits. He couldn't believe what he just heard. 

One thing that bothered him was the fact that Axel mentioned that name. That one name he never wanted to hear again and had done unspeakable things to eliminate. The name he had declared to be a taboo in the entire city, with the penalty being grave if anyone was found talking about him.

Everything about king Raymond had been hushed before Axel was born, so he wondered who the unfortunate soul was that had been telling Axel about him. 

And the person was even bold enough to feed him lies about his paternity? Was that why he had been behaving rudely and disrespectfully all this while? 

"You will know very soon. But that's not the point now." Axel answered nonchalantly and gestured toward another cell.
