Tonight

Exhausted, both physically and mentally, Alita let her upper body collapsed on the bed. She shut her eyes and let out a sigh. The reason why she had said she wanted to think about it was not that she really wanted to, but because she wanted to scream away her frustrations. 

However, now that she was alone, she realized that she had no strength to scream. Moreover, what would it solve or change? As it stands, she had no choice other than to accept what she is being offered. She was no fool to know that she wouldn't survive a vampire attack without strong backup.

And as much as she hated to admit it, the only strong backup she could get now was Axel. Even better was the fact that she didn't have to work her ass off to get it. Instead, it's being offered to her on a platter of gold.
