Secure the house

Axel watched her return to her room before he proceeded down the stairs. Though he was kind of happy she wanted to come with him, he couldn't place his finger on why she suddenly changed her mind. 

He was totally right when he said she would be the one to put his patience to the test. Minutes ago, he had decided to give her space and time to adjust, and by himself, he ruined his decision by inviting her to walk with him. To worsen it, she agreed. 

When he got to the spot where Asher and the others were seated, he stood by the door, causing the three men to immediately suspect that something was wrong.

"Is everything alright, your highness?" Fred asked. His entire body was already on high alert as his mind started bringing up several scenarios, all having to do with Alita. 

"The eight moon is in three days." Axel announced and Fred visibly relaxed. He had thought the worst had happened. Thankfully, it wasn't what he was thinking.
