"Why is there a ring on your finger?" King Gregory's voice thundered, forcing Axel to stop again just when he reached the door.
Earlier, when Dorian returned to the castle, he had raised an alarm that the king found hard to believe. He knew that Axel could do some crazy things, however, he refused to believe he could go as far as marriage.
Now, getting married was not the problem. It was the identity of the person he married. The news Dorian broke to them had been unbelievable and they had thought he was just crazy.
But the doubt began to wane when according to Dorian's words, the monster truly wasn't in the bunker, instead, he was moving about in Havilla, killing whoever he sets his eyes on, and the prisoner was missing too.
Now seeing a ring on Axel's finger, the last string of doubt he had, snapped. At that moment, he realized that things had gone out of control. What exactly had he done for this boy to give him so much headache?
