"Why are you standing there and smiling like that?" Alita inquired, one of her brows shooting up as her eyes dwelled on Axel who finally moved from the spot he was standing to approach her.

"Because you seem to be a lot more relaxed since we stepped in here." He revealed, folding the sleeves of his shirt in readiness for the task ahead.

Alita beamed at the answer and began to unpack the items they needed while Axel readied the pan they would use.

"Nooo... That one is too big." Alita disapproved of the choice of pan he picked.

"Shhh... I'm the one cooking, remember? You just sit down like the Queen you are and wait to taste my delicacy." His alluring voice reached her ears and caressed her heart delicately, evoking a warm and tender expression, devoid of any protest from her.

"I only want to help, so you won't burn anything." Alita voiced.
