I won't come in

Anger burned in Alita's veins as she stood behind the door. What in hell's name did he think he was doing showing up here again? Her stance was still alert and her hand still burning red as she knew he could just appear in the room.

When she waited for some time and he didn't appear in the room, she creased her eyebrows. She also stopped sensing his presence around and she became confused. Did he leave? She wondered.

She waited again for a few more seconds and when nothing changed, she opened the door again. He wasn't standing there. Did she just imagine him standing outside the door? No way she could have imagined that.

Doubtful, she stepped out of the room into the hallway, her eyes narrowed. She looked right then left, with the thought that Axel might still be around. To her incredulity, she spotted not even a single person in the hallway.
