As he spoke, he turned to switch on the outside light, pocketing the flashlight. The dog's barking also subsided, its cautious gait moving towards Li Fei, sniffing the air warily, each hair on its back standing on end as it approached Li Fei with trepidation.

Li Fei remained still, fearing startling the dog and finding getting bitten to be a very bad deal.

In the light, one could clearly see the person opposite was an old man in his fifties or sixties, dressed in a security guard's uniform.

Clearing his throat, Li Fei said, "I want to ask, do you sell fishing boats here? Is the boss around right now?"

The security guard shook his head irritably, "What business could you possibly have at this late hour? We don't sell little boats here; the smallest we have are dozens of meters long and have several hundred horsepower."

Li Fei hurriedly replied, "That's exactly what I need, I do need such a big boat. Could you please open the gate and let me in?"
