Path to Strength

This is the first book I am posting on this platform, so I ask for patience. My native language is not English, and I am not ashamed to say that I am using the so-called "Best Translator in the World" to help me with this work (DeepL translator). I was really trying to find fanfics that take place in the worlds of Baki, Kengan Ashura or the like, and although I found them, I only came across ones where the character gets supernatural powers that put him above any fighter from these worlds, and that frustrated me. A man needs to see two people fighting using their fists entirely, rather than creating interdimensional portals or something of that sort. So don't expect these kinds of powers here, because here there will just be the old way of solving problems. ---------------------------------------------------- It was a normal day for Yuji, going to school, then to the gym he was attending and finally home. A monotonous, but pleasant routine. There was no cause for pride, much less shame, so for the teenager that was enough. As always, everything was going as it should. That was until the moment when, looking in the mirror, the boy's whole perspective seemed to change. Facing someone who looked like him, but at the same time, was not him, Yuji sees himself in a similar world, but which is certainly not his. Crossover world of animes, including Tokyo Revengers, Baki, Kengan Ashura, Holyland, Hajime no Ippo and others that can easily be included in FF if readers have ideas.

_____Narration_____

In the middle of a room full of fancy furniture, three men with carefree expressions were sitting in armchairs while talking among themselves.

"That idiot is taking too long, he should already be here with the person responsible for this mess." One of them, a short, fat man, spoke dismissively.

"You know how he likes to have fun with his targets, be patient." The second man, with more careful features replied, sucking the smoke from his cigar for a moment before letting it out from between his lips.

"If he does the job, let him have all the fun he wants." A third man spoke, a small smile on his lips as he leaned back in his chair to pick up a cigar from a table in front of him.

"..."

Suddenly, a bloody figure appeared behind the armchair of the three men, its palm raised over the head of one of them, before descending in a lethal, clean strike, the sound of flesh being twisted echoing throughout the room, and drawing the attention of the other two men.

"Uh?" The obese man muttered in confusion, his eyes landing on his companion attacked by the figure, sweat pooling on his forehead as the man's body fell to the ground, blood gushing from a wound on the back of his neck.

"Wait! We can talk!"

Responsible for this attack was none other than Yuji, who ignoring the man's attempt at persuasion, advanced against the remaining two, cries of despair echoing from the room as Yuji began his work.

.

.

.

Coming out of the factory, a Yuji covered in blood and wounds could be seen, the sight of a chaotic place with several bodies scattered on the floor causing him to frown. Some guards were still shooting at some prisoners, who were trying to get the children out of the crossfire.

This made him feel bad, but he didn't rethink his decision to give the weapons to the prisoners. Fighting for their freedoms was their choice, even though he was responsible for creating such a choice, it was still their decision.

Turning to the remaining guards, Yuji began to approach, his eyes on the children who were shielding themselves from the gunfire, who were hugging each other as they trembled with fear. This made his anger rise, and without even giving the guards a chance, he ran past them, ripping their throats out, ceasing the gunfire as their bodies fell to the ground.

"..." Silently, the boy watched them suffer before he died, an uncomfortable feeling making him look away.

'At least that feeling confirms to me that I have not become a psychopath.'

Simply turning around, the boy walked away from the factory, the prisoners watching his back with grateful glances for a few seconds, before they went their own ways and fled with their children,

.

It didn't take long for Yuji to reach the pharmacy, the place he had come to call home. Entering the place, the boy braked for a moment, his eyes closing as he bowed his head.

"Guh!"

Falling to his knees, the boy began to vomit blood uncontrollably, an intense pain in his chest making him clench his chest tightly. This continued for almost a minute, when, feeling the pain subside and the vomiting stop, he got up with difficulty and staggered to the bathroom, knocking over furniture on the way before stopping in front of the mirror.

Raising his head, he looked into the mirror, getting a clear view of his face. His face was covered in blood, originating from his mouth, nose and eyes. The consequences of using [Advance] to its maximum along with [Removal] were devastating, causing deadly internal damage. Yuji knew that he was only alive due to his abnormal regeneration, and he thanked the universe for that.

Washing his face, the boy grabbed some bandages and medicine from a shelf, beginning to treat the cut that extended from his neck to his chin. The wound was deep, and if his regeneration hadn't stopped the bleeding, he would be bleeding to this very moment. His ability to recover from injuries was nothing more than "enhanced," not something supernatural, and Yuji knew the limits of such an ability. Therefore, he knew that an injury like this would leave a nice scar, since it had torn his flesh, not simply cut.

Cleaning the wound, he put the bandages on, causing him to stare at his appearance for a few seconds.

"I look like that guy, Hassad."

Letting out a sigh, he staggered over to his sofa, sitting down and letting exhaustion overtake him as he felt as if gravity suddenly increased, his limbs heavy as rocks.

Yuji believed that even a Kure, with such pressure on his body, would not survive the use of the two techniques. This made him remember the ability his body had to adapt quickly, crediting the lack of negative effects from his first use of [Advance] to that. It made him wonder which trait gave his body this ability, perhaps it was the [Blessed Potential], or the one listed as [???], which Yuji had no idea what it was.

Turning his attention to the ceiling, Yuji had an exhausted expression, his eyes closing as sleep overtook him.

"..-"

[Congratulations, you evolved during combat!]

[Congratulations, you have learned [Removal]! Also, thanks to your potential you become able to extract 100% of your latent strength!]

[Congratulations, you have defeated Masashi Kure and as a reward, you receive the [Kure Techniques Lv.1].

[For completing the Kanoh Agito requirement, you get some rewards].

[Formless Lv.1]

[Niko Style Lv.1]

When Yuji opened his eyes and read the system messages, he just didn't jump for joy because his body refused to get up, but in his mind, he celebrated his rewards, sleep finally catching up with him seconds later.

.

At the top of a building, Kanoh and Mokichi were watching the factory of Yuji's now-dead administrators, the blond opening a proud smile while Kanoh just kept his expression monotone.

"Well, he did it, and he exceeded expectations." Mokichi said, his arms crossed over his chest as he turned his attention to Kanoh.

"..." Metsudo's Fang did not respond, just staring at the factory for several seconds.

Mokichi, who suddenly felt something vibrate in his pants, pulled out his cell phone and opened it to see a message from his sister. Clicking on the notification, a picture of a Kou with braids in her hair while pouting appeared on his screen, a bright aura of happiness hanging over the man's head.

While Mokichi was lost in the cuteness of the pictures Elena started to send, Kanoh suddenly started talking, completely oblivious to the state of the blond next to him.

"He has demonstrated the strength needed to become a Fang of Metsudo." Kanoh uncrossed his arms, a small smile appearing on his lips. "Tomorrow, the real training will begin."

Turning his attention back to Mokichi, Kanoh's smile faded as he saw the state of the man, who was smiling with every picture he looked at, like a proud father watching his daughter graduate from college. Fang shook his head as he began to walk away, completely ignoring the presence of Baritsu's master.

"Mr. Fang, did you say something?" Turning his gaze to where Kanoh previously stood, Mokichi was confused when he found no one. "Mr. Fang?"

At this point, Agito was already leaving the building, heading for the car in which they came.

.

Two men, minutes after Mokichi and Kanoh left the scene, watched the factory as they camouflaged themselves in an alley, their white irises standing out in the darkness.

"So this is where Masashi was hiding." One of the figures said.

"He ran away after a betrayal only to die in a miserable place like this." The other spoke, contempt in her tone.

"Masashi was not considered a prodigy for nothing, his strength is not something to be underestimated. The one known as 'Outsider' is certainly strong."

"Kanoh Agito was at the scene, how can we be sure he wasn't the one who killed Masashi?"

"According to the information gathered, Kanoh Agito was responsible for bringing the Outsider. The clan believes that he may be some sort of apprentice to the Fang of Metsudo."

"Fangs with an apprentice? That's a hard one to swallow."

"Really, but in case that's true, it's worth keeping an eye on, we may have another monster being born."

"..."

While the two were talking, Yuji slept soundly, completely oblivious to the matters concerning him. During his sleep, Yuji would return to face Kure, improving his new skills received even in his dreams.

At that moment, even if the boy didn't know it, a new page in his life was turned, so that new learning would emerge.

In that situation, training in his mind, he could only have a feeling that soon his rest would have to be interrupted.

.

Finally we finish the training arc! I think Yuji was able to develop enough during this arc, and I hope you enjoyed following along so far! I hope for your support in the next arc, which will be the Annihilation Tournament arc.

I never got around to asking that here, so I'll give myself that permission...
