Chapter 500: Landing (Part 4)_1

"Boom!"

A violent wind blew up, the sound of an explosion rang out, several towering buildings in the city center were suddenly ripped through, large chunks of rubble and glass splintered down like scattered flowers from heaven, brutally smashing onto the street. What resulted was over a dozen cars and countless pedestrians buried in rubble.

"Faster, faster, go faster!"

There was no need for Lexy to urge him on anymore, ever since Mond glanced back a minute ago and saw the horde of monsters charging towards him. He was scared out of his wits, pale as a sheet, disregarding all traffic rules, stomping on the gas, forcing his pick-up truck to reach a hundred yards speed. He managed to swerve and dodge through the heavy traffic without hitting a single car.

However, such reckless driving inevitably led to numerous vehicles failing to react in time, causing a series of rear-end collisions and crashes, at least a dozen of which could be attributed to Mond's actions.
