Paragon Of Death

This is the story of a youth who attained peak strength in all three cultivation pathways: soul, energy, and body, due to a one-of-a-kind event that gave him the talent to cultivate them when he was twenty years old.   All of this occurred in a universe ruled by God. But after that unique event, he traveled to another universe with his own harem.   But does everything proceed as planned?   This is the tale of a transmigrated youth who wanted power. Not for godhood nor immortality.   He'd do all in his power to become Death itself!   === Notice: This is the first novel of mine, the second one is [Rise Of The Nefarious Devil]. The maim point for these is that this novel would be around seeking questions about what death is, while the other novel about what good and evil is.

34- Alchemy Alliance

-

Soon afterwards, Adel went back to his residence to start cultivation again.

The other elders didn't talk about matters that interested him, so he didn't pay much attention to them when he was present over there.

-

Soon, Adel arrived at his residence as he started making some plans.

"I need to ask Katrina whether there is an alchemy alliance nearby or not." Adel said to himself as he started making a proper plan to successfully become an alchemy master.

After all, becoming an alchemist requires at least reaching the high stage of the second step, and he was still at the early stage of the second step.

But he has the advantage of his past life, including cultivating all three pathways. So it would be a lot easier to become one with his experience.

As on the second step, one needed to infuse more Ki, QI, or Nao into their dantians, bodies, or souls to nourish them even more.

Because the second step was the consolidation of one's own foundations to bear the burden of the higher realms. And so, it was similarly divided into three stages: early/front, mid, and high/end stages.

At the high stage of the second step, one can begin to manipulate the aforementioned energies to a limited extent.

They would then be able to successfully manipulate the energies in the third step.

The fourth step was the step at which one could manipulate the surrounding energies' elements enough to fly.

But they could only float slightly above the ground, as the gravity laws prevented them from flying.

Unless they had learnt to do it on the fifth step, where one learns laws.

It wasn't exactly where one learns the laws, but rather where one places a law seed in their dantian, soul, or bodies to bear the higher power of laws once they stepped higher on the pathway to learning a higher level of the laws; of which Adel didn't know much about as he was only a sixth step cultivator.

Back to Adel,

He left the clan after talking with Katrina about where to leave from there.

According to her, there was an alchemist alliance in the kingdom that all of the clans here, including the royal family, respected.

Although alchemists were indeed weak and couldn't protect themselves, that only made them modest.

Because they were aware that they had to rely on others to protect them. After all, to walk the alchemy path, one had to devote their entire attention to studying all of the various pills, their ingredients, the places they grew, etc.

And that was just a theory. They still had to practice for decades.

Then again, no matter how one learns, if one doesn't verify them practically, no one can guarantee whether they are right or not.

Furthermore, when doing alchemy, one must have incredible control over their energies to concoct pills.

If an error were to occur in any of the sequences, it would result in failure. Only by learning seriously and practicing continuously will one succeed. It is impossible for one to become an alchemist without at least dozens of years of practice.

That itself made the alchemists haughty and arrogant when getting orders. But that was just then, as they just wanted to raise their profits, and they wouldn't act arrogant if it wasn't a sale situation.

After all, who would guarantee them that the bodyguards they've hired wouldn't suddenly turn their backs against them just for offending someone they couldn't offend?

But that also gave them incredible standing in the kingdom. Alchemists helped make pills, and the pills advanced one's cultivation. It was definitely necessary to at least have a 3-star alchemist in the kingdom.

-

Katrina was worried about this matter. After all, Adel was only sixteen, and there was no way he would be a 1-star alchemist, of which he seemed to be joking at the end of his words when he reckoned she wouldn't believe him.

He ended up telling her he was going there to sell some herbs to get some Dracha Coins.

The Dracha Coins were the currency that was used in the kingdom between the clans. It was only useful for this kingdom, though. Since every other kingdom had their own currency.

Katrina nodded and told him to leave, and take care of himself, which made Adel just nod his head.

But Katrina told him so without telling him to take her with him, which puzzled Adel, but he didn't pay much attention to it...

-

As Adel left, he needed to first go to a clothing store to change his appearance.

Before he entered it, he slightly changed his body structure to that of a middle-aged man.

The energy fluctuations didn't change if people were to track him, but it wouldn't be much of a problem, as he didn't let out any energy fluctuations anyway.

He then noticed a clothing store that was nearby and entered. When he finally exited, he had already transformed into a totally different person.

He had hung cheeks, a skinny appearance, and a cane that he was holding onto. He was dressed extravagantly. It was apparent from his appearance that he was a person of high background.

He'd spent quite a large amount of money to get his current clothes, but he didn't care since it was for his other identity..

He nodded his head calmly as he looked at his appearance, before he headed towards the Alchemist Alliance's direction.

-

After walking along the streets for an hour, he arrived at his destination.

A magnificent building, as though a massive castle. A board hung on top of the entrance, and two majestic golden words were embedded on it, Alchemist Alliance!

Without much hesitation, Adel walked in

-

As soon as Adel entered the Alchemist Alliance, his nose was assaulted by the aroma of newly made pills.

A young girl, around 20 years old, approached Adel. Her energy fluctuations were those of an early stage first step body cultivator.

She was average in terms of looks. Her face wasn't that pretty, and even her boobs and buttocks were quite small, which made one ignore her subconsciously due to her ordinary looks.

She wore black robes that were tightly wrapped around her body, accentuating her non-existent curves even further to enchant those single men who haven't seen a beautiful woman.

As she bowed towards him, a part of her robe that was guarding her flat chest was exposed, which made Adel frown inwardly, as she started speaking:

"Welcome, senior. Do you need a cauldron or medicinal ingredients, or do you have them on you? My name is Luzie and I am here to help you. Our "Alchemists' Alliance" has everything you would need."

At every important building, there were some cultivators responsible for receiving and guiding guests, and clearly, this girl was one of them.

A few of them would lure those innocent young men or middle-aged men into bed to get extra personal benefits. Although she indeed didn't have a beauty of her own, some people liked flat girls, much like how those men r.ped the male beast back then, making him shudder as he thought back to the beast.

Adel looked at her with an expressionless face before he said:

"I would like to have the 1-star alchemist examination."

The young girl was stunned for a second, before she nodded her head as she started telling Adel the procedures on how to participate in the first exam to become a 1-star alchemist.
