Paragon Of Death

This is the story of a youth who attained peak strength in all three cultivation pathways: soul, energy, and body, due to a one-of-a-kind event that gave him the talent to cultivate them when he was twenty years old.   All of this occurred in a universe ruled by God. But after that unique event, he traveled to another universe with his own harem.   But does everything proceed as planned?   This is the tale of a transmigrated youth who wanted power. Not for godhood nor immortality.   He'd do all in his power to become Death itself!   === Notice: This is the first novel of mine, the second one is [Rise Of The Nefarious Devil]. The maim point for these is that this novel would be around seeking questions about what death is, while the other novel about what good and evil is.

33- Clan elders ' session

-

-

Time quickly passed, and before he knew it, it was now the morning.

Adel yawned as he stopped his cultivation, remembering that he had to go attend that session of the elders.

Albeit he frankly didn't need to know about the knowledge, he still has to continue with his acting as an ignorant about the cultivation world...

-

After Adel had done his the necessities for his mortal body (cut his nails, answered nature's call, etc.), he went to knock at Katrina's door to find her for breakfast.

She opened her door and greeted him with a smile that made him stuck in his place, as he displayed an expression that seemed to say "you're too beautiful."

For some reason, she seemed a lot more beautiful to him today.

He was checking her entire body shamelessly, looking at her breasts and nodding several times, before going in the left and right ways to check out her ass.

Katrina was in no way not embarrassed as she saw Adel checking out her breasts...

She hurriedly blushed away as she covered her breasts and ass, before telling Adel:

"Get out of it! We're in public! "

Adel quickly shook his head and then returned to his calm expression and smiled at her: "You look really stunning."

Adel didn't know what happened to him, but he soon forgot about it, focusing on her words "We're in public".

Did that mean he could do that if they were in private?

He grinned mischievously, but then rapidly shook his head as he frowned- 'Since when did my perverted nature rise up? Is it because I think she is reincarnated? '

Many thoughts were going through his head, as before he knew it, he concluded - 'That means after I go to the beast's clan, I'll have to check whether her memory is sealed or not... '

That's right! He didn't forget about the beast, as it was an important factor in his plans. It led it out of the Residence after making sure everyone was out

He nodded his head repeatedly, before he moved with Katrina.

-

Back to the real world.

As soon as Katrina heard him, her face turned as red as a tomato, but she quickly gathered her courage, and thanked him. She took a deep breath before walking towards the diner hall's direction.

The entire walk was silent as no one spoke to another until Katrina, who was walking with her head down, coughed embarrassingly, looked at Adel, and said:

"Actually, the clan elders' session talks about the various things in the cultivation world, such as doing less evil in order to have better luck..."

Soon thereafter, the two continued talking until arriving at the diner hall.

-

After breakfast, the two arrived at the place where disciples gathered for the clan elders' session, and sat in a chair that was close to the elders.

-

A few minutes later, the elders arrived, and one of them began speaking while the others sat on their own chairs waiting for their turns.

The elder then used Ki to amplify his words everywhere, meaning he was on the second step of the body cultivation pathway, as he started speaking:

"In order to cultivate in the body cultivation pathway, one needs to sense Ki from the pathway, a potent one at that, then use it to nourish their bodies..." He then continued, describing in detail the first step for the body system cultivators.

-

After a while, the elder then went back to sit on a chair.

Another elder sat up, and from his energy cultivation, Adel sensed that it was one of the early stage of the third step, which made him surprised.

The elder used Ki to amplify his voice like the other elder, as it then started talking:

"Those were the cultivation realms of the body cultivation pathway, where the more nourished the body in the first step, the higher one could reach in the future.

As the body is actually the carrier of outside energy, which without a firm enough foundation would tremble and break all the past cultivation.

Hence, the importance placed on sensing the potent Ki is to have a higher chance of cultivating to higher steps..."

The elder continued talking about the body cultivation system again, as he seemed to describe it in even more detail.

-

As time passed, more and more elderly people stood up, passing on their knowledge of the first step in all cultivation pathways.

-

Hours passed before an elderly man with long white hair running down his back stood up, causing Adel, who was clearly bored with the past, to raise an eyebrow in interest.

This elder seemed to be... one that cultivated the soul cultivation pathway! And at the early stage of the third step at that!

The elder coughed lightly before he used Nao to amplify his words, making everyone have the illusion that even their souls were listening to him as he started talking:

"Enough about cultivation realms, now it's time to talk about the cultivation world.

Don't grow arrogant and conceited if you think that your position in the clan, or background is enough to make you live a good life without cultivating.

Because, after all, there could be someone who doesn't have any background and has faced all types of hardships to have strength similar to yours. So, your background, bloodline, and such things don't matter. "The elder paused to let them hear his words. A few disciples nodded their heads in agreement, as if they'd experienced what the elder said.

"That was about complacency. Now let's talk about arrogance, as one might think they are superior due to their backing, or noble bloodline, but never forget your origins.

Think back to your founders' origins. Who were they? Were they people who were born with a noble bloodline? With resources that could bring them all the way to the third step? Or were they people who would get pleasure from r*ping mortals? " asked the elder, making the disciples in turn look a little thoughtful, but shaking their heads nonetheless after a while.

"Now don't get me wrong. After all, humans take pleasure in the misfortune of others, as the pleasure they'd feel would be like a drug —more intense in the case that the misfortunes fall on those they hate the most, or are stronger than them.

Why am I saying this? Well, it is natural in the humans' instincts to act arrogant when they get a high status. But, that's it—humans' instincts.

If our instincts controlled us, we wouldn't be better than beasts, merely doing what our desires tell us to.

The more power one gets, the more arrogance they feel. For example, kings in the mortal world. There are some that don't care at all about others, only controlling the masses with their hands.

But others, albeit hypocritical, they nonetheless show some care for the other mortals. Providing them with food, shelter, water, etc.

So in conclusion, don't be like a random young man of a backward kingdom who goes around offending commoners who would then have their revenge on him, or his whole clan when they get stronger than they are; as a common troupe of some story you could listen to in a restaurant.

After all, such hardships would make one a devil, if the said clan were to supposedly kill the man's family. All the same, such matters are neither rare nor uncommon.

Now, this is but a few words of mine, as not everyone will think the same.

Everything we think about in this world is only a perspective of ours, as it is what our subconsciousness wants us to think, not the truth.

For example, many would say there are Gods who made the world, Gods who ruled over it, and such words. But what could back up their words? Nothing, just more words.

Thoughts are only superficial things we, mortals, have.

Yes, mortals. We might differentiate between the mortals who don't have cultivation and all those who are at a higher step—but we're still all mortals.

Though we all differentiate in both: lifespans and power. " The disciples nodded at the elder's words, while Adel was interested in what he was saying.

This was, in a way, reducing the number of arrogant young masters who would straight kill anyone who dared to even touch them.

Of course, he didn't know that the disciples would directly ignore his words. Ironically, their clan is the most known for being arrogant...

-

Adel kept nodding his head several times as he continued listening to the elder's voice:

"If Gods existed, then without thinking as a mortal's reasoning, one would naturally agree as there exists only one God— Omnipotent and all, that made us mortals not in reference to such Gods as himself, but something that even if we think about for a long time, we won't know. Something beyond our understanding.

There should be something that created us if we didn't create ourselves. However, if there were something that created our creator, that would cause an infinite loop if questions about who created who.

As if God created us mortals with mortal limitations like 7 emotions, 6 desires, gender difference, number difference, race difference, and so on, would there really be many Gods who've done the same, have the same things as us, mortals, have?

Or did the other Gods transcend all of that and become omnipotent, ruling another world and making other mortals, with other terms and emotions? No one knows, but the most reasonable truth that our subconsciousness can think of is one: none.

As it considers one point: God is the only omnipotent being who controls all matter in our current world, thus being the ultimate creator without being created.

But what is omnipotence? If the said God knew about everything—time for life, death, and snd of everything—why make us all? As previously mentioned, it is something not understandable.

For instance, a mortal's thinking can't comprehend something beyond its level of scope. For cultivators, there are legends of doing so on some future step.

As it won't make sense that everything was made of nature or returned to it, or nothingness that created everything, as some think. "

Adel was horrified. Wasn't that what happened in God's universe? They believed that there was only one God, omnipotent and all?

He did agree with his reasoning that reached to the conclusion, but he was hoping that the 'God' he was mentioning wasn't from Earth, but something else.

But fortunately or unfortunately, he didn't get the answer to his question as the figure continued with a cough:

"Now reverting back to the topic, since I deviated a bit from my words, let's talk about egos, as all humans have egos, of which you should thrive to control.

When I said thrive, I meant it. Controlling one's egos isn't a fast thing that could be done in a blink of an eye. No, it takes a year, decade, even centuries, depending on how their egos are.

They wouldn't be satisfied until they've fulfilled their desires, which would then boost their arrogance to another level.

Let's make an example of virginity: a man's ego would be proud if they were to take over a maiden's virginity. As their ego considers the virginity of a female the badge of honor, something extremely precious, the moment they take it, they won't pay much attention to the female and only contact her on occasions to relieve their lust; which is the case for mortals, and also cultivators who mistake the love emotion for merely lust.

And that's where they're wrong, as women have feelings too, and not just tools to be used by men whenever they want to vent their lust, as they too need their feelings to be assessed by others..." The elder soon finished, as he got back to his seat...

-

Adel knew that he needed to talk with the elder to get answers to his questions, so he made a mental note of doing that...
