26- Going Back, Unexpected surprise...
It took Adel two hours to finally get back to the first step beasts' region. One hour to leave the tunnel, and another to enter it.

He quickly headed towards Katrina's direction. As he was 500 meters away, he used the disguise technique to get back his former, ordinary looks.
He then used the [Misinterpretation] Spell, getting near her before he lightly tapped her shoulder, startling her.
She directly went in and hugged him, pressing her soft blossoms to his chest...

Meanwhile, Katrina was greatly worried about Adel, and what could've happened to him in period of time she wasn't with him...
She knew that he wouldn't be with her all the time, but that didn't mean she accepted it.
Besides, that was a talk about the future rather than now. She wanted to spend as much time with him before he realized the cultivation world and... then leave her?
Thus, it made Katrina incredibly worried that Adel would leave her after knowing the other matters of the cultivation world. After all, she knew that once Adel leaves her clan, and possibly even reach the fourth step due to his outstanding talent, he might forget about her.
So, she cultivated too hard in the duration Adel wasn't with her, making her have a forceful breakthrough to the high stage of the first step, while her soul cultivation stayed the same...

Adel didn't know what her worries were, and didn't think too much, but just patted her head.
He almost removed her from his embrace as he realized something...
She was at the high stage of the first step on both body and energy cultivation systems!
He was inwardly surprised by her talent, while also making a mental nod at how her artifact was efficient in hiding bigger threats from getting her.
Though he soon afterward frowned, as he sensed her cultivation being a little violent.
It was so small of a turbulence, that if it weren't for his currently powerful soul energy sense, he wouldn't have been able to sense it.
Though he knew that albeit the damage in her cultivation's foundation would barely do her any current harm, it might accumulate into more in the future, making it have a dangerous effect in the longer run.
Before, he didn't scan her soul with his soul energy, nor used mind-reading on her, due to the artifact hiding her cultivation.
But after her emotions, which seemed to be a little troubled, made her stop directing her concentration on suppressing her cultivation by the least, he could now sense it with his soul energy...
He was dumbfounded as it was the same stage as him—the early stage of the second step...
Though it was not as powerful as his, as she seemed to have no clue that he just sensed her soul cultivation...
Adel shook his head, thinking that the high stage second step beasts he'd brought with him can help consolidate both her body and energy cultivation.
Albeit other people who haven't trained on the [Primordial Cosmos] technique couldn't completely convert beast food to energy, they still had a very small percentage that was being converted to help their cultivation.
But that wasn't the case for everyone. For example, if a mortal were to eat a high stage second step beast's meat, his body wouldn't be able to handle the amount of energy, thus at the very least crippling him, making the mortal unable to move.
Hence, Adel absorbed a small amount of the beasts' meat's energies, enough for Katrina's body and dantian to be capable of handling the little amount of energy that would be sent to consolidate it, and help fix the chaotic cultivation.

Katrina was reluctant but didn't say much as she knew she wasn't able to tell Adel her worries...
She did find it weird how he was dense before and now was slowly getting more emotional as a teenager, she thought that maybe his body hormones had started when he started cultivation?
She wasn't sure, but it was impossible for her to guess that the current Adel wasn't the same as the previous one.
Though after leaving his embrace, she remembered something, showing an excited, yet flushed expression on her face...
She then hurriedly caught Adel's hand, before rushing towards a certain direction that was surrounded by lights.
The surrounding trees all had some cool vibe to them. Like a lantern that was on them, yet only energy illuminated the area.
Adel was amazed as he saw the surrounding. He wanted to ask whether the others would notice this or not, but stopped from doing so after remembering she was proficient in arrays, and probably made such an array that hid them from others.
He saw a small table that had two small wooden chairs on each side, with a small amount of liquid that filled two jars on each of the sides.
Katrina looked at Adel with a blush on her face, as she said: "This is what my junior sisters said a date looked like..."
Adel looked at everything with a smile of his own, while nodding his head repeatedly at her with a nostalgic smile on his face, remembering some events back on Earth...

After Adel saw Gabrielle's nod, he became enthusiastic, while a girl that was sitting beside him was secretly inwardly frowning after reading the messages - 'Sh*t! Even with my boldness, I didn't make a move on him yet, but now he's gonna have his first date taken by her!'
She gritted her teeth, not wanting to be left behind as a best friend of her crush...
She shook her head, inwardly formulating many plans, while a grin appeared on her face as she looked at Adel...
Adel who saw her expression, shuddered as he felt that he was some prey being eyed by a hunter, but he shook his head out of his thoughts as he started focusing on the class...

After class, Adel received a message from Gabrielle, as she sent him her message that was cut into 3 parts:

[Hello, Adel. It's not that I'm still mad about what happened between us before. It's just... Eh, I can't say for now sorry.]
[Anyway, yes. I would love to come with you for a date. It's just... It's my first date, so take care of me *blush-sticker*]
[As for the place... I prefer a forest that would be surrounded by lights... It'll look rather romantic with just the two of us...]
The message ended there, making Adel have a small blush below his eyes as he started thinking of what the date would he like...
The girl was standing beside Adel, as she read the message with the same smile on her face, but her inner thoughts were turning chaotic as she started thinking more and more of her plans - 'Yes! That's it! No way that wouldn't work!'

A few meters away, Gabrielle could be seen peeking behind the wall, looking at Adel's flushed face before a warm feeling spread through her heart, nodding her heard, thinking she made the right decision on accepting his advances...
