The Tournament

CJ POV

Today is a big day, I'm so excited to do this. We had a hard time doing training and stuff, I can't even get a chance to call my team and ask them if they're doing alright. But it's okay we only have 1 week left here so I better enjoy it.

"Are we going to wear this? I like my outfit than this."- Lei said

"We can't say no, because it was mandated to wear it"- Aileen said

"She's right, it won't be long so just do it"- I said

"Okay fine"- then she sighs

"Do you think we're going to win?"- Hani ask

"We have to"- Dave answered

"Let just show them what we got, it a shame that we learn and train here for nothing"- Aileen said, which was right

"Yeah, your right"-then we look at each other and smile

"Come on, let's do this chant thingy"- Seo said, so we put our hands together

"TO PARADEN!!!"- that was fun, we look like really a team.

I and Seo were the first ones to compete when we're at the tournament area they let us choose from the box. We got blue means water, I like it if it's fire since I train hard to control and learn some technique on using it. But water is fine, Seo was good at controlling this and she knows a lot of technique. We start to wear our rings and stand at the center, this ring helps us to control the elements we choose.

"What are they doing here?"- Seo suddenly said, while looking at someone

"Wait, is that the higher-ups?"- I said, when did they get here?

"Yes, it is"- she answers

"Why are they here?"- I'm confused

"Maybe to watch us?"- she's also unsure of it

"This means we have to do our best"- today won't be easy though

The start to beat the drums means our competitor is coming. Now we're starting, It's time to show what we have learned. I won't let my team down, we need to win.

"I thought we're going to fight with our instructors? This isn't an avatar"- Seo said, I look at him and she's right

"Maybe, they're a student here before"- I said

"Whatever let's just focus and do our best"- she said

"Today we are going to witness another tournament and if the student of Paraden wins, they will have the right to attend in the advanced class but if not they will remain as a middle class. So good luck and fight fairly"- after the Queen's speech the fight is finally starting.

"Are you ready?"

"Ready"- then I start to attack

"He was strong we need a strategy"- Seo said, we both catching our breath

"Why don't we use the 'Water Clone Technique' to give us some time to prepare"- I suggest

"Great Idea, let's do it"- we position our hands

"Water Clone Technique!"- it would take 10 minutes to take down all that clone.

"He is using 'Water Shark Bullet' to take them down"- she said, he's good

"Let's use 'Soap bubble ninjutsu' to hide and attack him when we get the chance"- so we do it, we are surrounded by bubbles it will be hard to find us. When I saw him near to us it's our chance to attack.

"Water release ninjitsu!!"- I said and we continually attack him as fast as we could.

We just need to remove the mask on her head to win, that's the rule. This is not a serious one yet, it was just a play fight.

"Water Shark Bullets!"- then Seo attacks the mask so it will be removed. Then suddenly I heard the sound of the drum, it's a sign to stop.

I look at him and the mask was removed already, so we stop attacking and sit on the floor. That was a tough fight, I thought no one would surrender. Seo gets near to me and offers her hand, I take it and stand up.

"Nice competing with you"- I said to him, he turned around and smiled at us.

"Sir Hoe?"- we both said shocked, he was one of the higher-ups.

"Hi, there guys."- he said

"Why are you here? I thought it would be someone else"- Seo said

"Well, let me answer that later, for now, sit down and relax."- he said and start to walk

"I just can't believe this, no wonder he was too strong"

"Oh one more thing don't tell anyone that you saw me"- he continue to walked away from us

"Okay, that was unexpected"- Seo said, we decide to go inside and take a seat to watch Chirs and Lei they are next.

I saw that they choose wind, it suits them since they both good at controlling wind and they know a lot of techniques. The fight starts and it was intense they were using Wind release and forming the wind into a sharp tool.

"Their movement was too fast, I can't see who's winning"- Seo said, I agree with her since all we can see is dust. They're way too fast

"I think someone's already winning, Avash is getting ready to beat the drum"- I said, well she was so focused and I don't know how can she see what's happening.

"Yeah, they already stop"- she said, we wait until it's clear. It was so dusty outside.

"We won!"- she said, so I stand up and the mask is off.

"Aren't we too competitive"- and I smirk

"Well, let just say we don't give up easily"- she was right about that

"Who's next?"- I ask

"Hani and Dave"- she answered

"That means Aileen will be the one doing solo?"- ugh why does she have to go alone again.

"Yeah"

"I need to help her"

"You can't, once your turn is done then you can't help that was in the rule"- damn, I hate it. I just sit there and drink.

Chris and Lei join us after they change their clothes. We both watching Dave and Hani right now. They got earth means fire would go to Aileen.

DAVE POV

"We should do the special technique"- I said to Hani

"Okay, do it"- she said

We continually attack him but he was so fast to do counterattacks.

It's like he was just playing while we're too already tired of trying to remove his mask. I can't just give up right now I need to think of another way.

"Wait, let start to manipulate the rocks and use them as a tool"- I said, we start doing it

It was already evening and we're not done yet, but because of our persistence to win, we are to remove his mask. We were shocked when we saw him, it was Sir Chan.

"Your good, I didn't expect that from you"- he said and pat our shoulder

"What are you doing here Sir?"- I ask

"We get an invitation, so that's why"- he answered

"Is that the reason why your all here?"- Hani ask, we saw the others earlier

"Yeah, anyway who will be your last challenger?"- he asks

"Aileen"- I answered

"I see, this would be a good fight then"- he said and smile

"What do you mean sir?"- I ask

"Well, you'll see"- he said and leave. That's it? How can he leave us hanging

"We need to go inside the final tournament will be starting"- Hani said

After we change our clothes we join the others at the VIP room to watch for the final round. Aileen is already out there with her competitor, I don't know why but I can't calm down because of what did Sir Chan said earlier.

"Are you okay bro?"- Chris ask

"Yeah, maybe"- I answer

"Calm down, Aileen will be fine"- Lei said

"He was bothered about something"- Hani said

"What's that?"- Cj ask

"Nothing, let's just watch"- she can do this

"Come on, it's starting"- Seo said so we all watch her

They both attacking each other but at the same time avoiding one another attacks. We are like watching a real tournament this time, they are both good. Aileen uses too many techniques, but the other side is using techniques to avoid her attack. They are almost fighting for three hours and it seems like no one is giving up.

"How can they be this good? I really respect her"- Lei said

"If she wants something she would do anything, giving up is not in her dictionary"- Chris said, he's right and that's why I'm worried.

I go back to our table and seat there, I don't want to watch it's just making me more worried. There's nothing I can do to help her even I badly want to.

"Hey everything will be fine"- Cj said and pat me

"What taking them so long?"- I'm just worried, she can collapse on that state.

"It's over"- Hani said

"So who won?"- Cj asks, their faces seem sad. Did we lose?

"Well"

"Come on tell me"- he's serious now

"We won"- Chris answered and leave. Cj and I stand and look in the window, it's really over we won.

"We should go"- Lei said and they leave

"Why what's going on?"- Cj asked, I saw Aileen was on the floor and Chris was running to her.

"Come on"- I said and ran outside. I know she would collapse, she uses too much energy again.

When we get there Chris was carrying her, she looks weak. I'll better take care of her, I was very proud of her today.

"Give her to me, I'll just take over here"- I said and get her

"Go and take her to her room, we will follow you after"- Cj said, so we leave

"I told you to take care of yourself, but you were so stubborn"- I whisper in her ear and kiss her on the forehead.

Wait, Why is she so hot? I hold her forehead and she was burning up. I put her in bed and fix her blanket so that she would be comfortable resting. I stayed by her side and take care of her, this isn't her. If there's a side of her that I hate it would be seeing her sick.

"Get well and don't get sick"- I said and sleep

SOMEONE'S POV

(Somewhere)

"So who won the tournament?"- I bet those brats lose, they're competing against the higher-ups

"The students master"- he answers

"Ugh! those brats are getting on my way"- how could they win? They're just a child

"Do you want me to kill them, master?"- I look at him

"No, I have a better idea to destroy them"- and laugh devilishly

I will prove that the prophecy is wrong! no one can defeat me. Aliah is dead, and the last element has not yet found its owner. I have the chance to get that element and make me the most powerful man here in Paraden.
