Blakely and Maven vs. Hiroshi’s Training Day 2

Blakely Arcas was not a morning person. In fact, as far as Blakely was concerned, mornings should be illegal. The sun should have to make an appointment before showing up in her sky. Unfortunately, Hiroshi—who had decided he was now her personal drill sergeant—did not share her sentiments. And so, here she was again, groaning into her pillow as the rays of early morning sunlight tried their best to drag her from the sweet embrace of sleep.

If she thought today would be different, however, she was quickly proven wrong when the door to her room swung open with the subtlety of a thunderclap.

"Rise and shine, Blakely!" Hiroshi's voice boomed, shattering any hope of returning to her dreams. He didn't just stand at the door this time. Oh no. This time, he marched right up to the bed and yanked the covers off in one swift motion, leaving Blakely exposed to the cold, cruel reality of the morning air.
