Chapter 944: The Lying Position
Once he had finished speaking, Ye Ge lowered his head to look at Nan Feng, unsure of when she had fallen asleep.
It seemed she wasn't too concerned about Lu Jianxi, otherwise she wouldn't have fallen asleep.
Ye Ge gently laid Nan Feng back on the bed, keeping her in a side-lying position. Perhaps that movement caused her some pain; she grunted a couple of times, but then Ye Ge lay down beside her and took her into his arms. Probably feeling comforted, she fell into a deep sleep once again.
The next day.
Long San got up early and, when he arrived outside Nan Feng's room, found that Lu Jianxi had risen even earlier and had already been there for some time.
The candle inside the room had been extinguished, and all was quiet without a sound. He couldn't tell how Nan Feng was faring now.
