Mr. Satan always had a plan for everything. Now that they had revealed all their secrets and pasts, she still trusted his judgment and supported his actions.
But...
Emily gently nudged him, signaling him not to be too affectionate. She felt a bit shy.
Mr. Satan didn't mind. He kept his arm around her waist, maintaining the close posture. "Bryden, did you come over today for something specific?"
Bryden's gaze shifted between Mr. Satan and Emily, puzzled and slightly embarrassed. "You haven't been home for a few days. Grandma misses you."
Mr. Satan nodded. "Alright, we'll go home together tonight and have dinner with Grandma."
The more relaxed Mr. Satan acted, the more agitated Bryden felt.
But why he was agitated, he couldn't quite explain.
There was a pent-up frustration within him, pressing against his chest, making him uncomfortable.
He had to say some things, no matter what.
"Brother, there's something I need to ask you about. Can we talk in your office?"
