The next morning, Nora was already at the office thinking about everything that has happened to her and how she was saved the night before by God and Marcus at the same time, she can't just get the thoughts off her head.
It was past working hours, and she was the only one left. Ethan had left earlier for an urgent meeting, and Lucas was out managing some security details elsewhere.
She looked at the black laptop on Ethan's desk. The temptation was still there, she just wanted to find out about the Project Hayes.
Her train of thought was interrupted by the ringing of her phone.
The caller ID was Diana. Nora paused but picked up.
"Hey, what's up?" she asked, trying to sound normal.
"You are still at work, aren't you?" Diana said, her tone was more accusing than questioning.
"Yeah, I have got some last-minute stuff to wrap up." Nora admitted.
