Chapter 66 – Stares

Looking at Pom's small build, Carl was a little worried about Pom's combat abilities, but he should not judge a book by its cover.

While Pom had a small build, he was an ascended student thought that did not mean much when they're obviously going to have to engage against other ascended students.

Carl almost wanted to take back what he said.

'Pom doesn't even know me. I don't even know how he knew my name. Does this guy have any friends?' Carl chuckled wryly in his mind, knowing it was extremely likely no one wants to be even associated with such a weirdo.

'He's just like you, ain't he?' Luna happily pointed out, 'No friends, no family, he's about to duel in a few hours, yet he doesn't have anyone to fight with him.'

'I'm not like him! That is not the original owner of this body.' Carl argued.

'Really?' Luna just harrumphed with sarcasm. 'Don't even dare to lose.'

'Lose, huh?' Carl repeated in his mind. No way was that happening.
