Hearing the contents of the conversation, Carl involuntarily choked on his food.

One of the hunters in the table asked Carl and offered him a glass of water. But Carl immediately refused. He put 10 pounds on his fits and punched his chest twice to fix himself and then looked at the hunters one by one.

"Can you repeat what you said again?" Carl said with urgency.

The hunters in the table looked at each other with confused expressions. But seeing the more confused expression on the youth's face, they repeated what they were talking.

"I'm surprised you didn't know. It has been all over the news. A leader type monster that could talk suddenly emerged and went on a killing spree. It apparently was in a deal with the crew here and it ended up betraying them all."

"And that's not the only sauce. Apparently, this monster is an otherworlder. It could talk."
