First One In

"Is he dead?" someone man asked another.

"Most likely he entered the island. If I remember he had long since come here. And he came alone. I think he should be the one that have the information to the auction house."

"Your right. Is that how you enter the island then."

Another man walked to the same place Leon had stood and said the same thing but nothing happened. Others tried but they all failed. They all started to look around for a way to enter.

Bly was already annoyed by Orion but now having someone enter his inheritance before himself he was livid. He watched as Pace and Orion didn't do anything. So he calmed himself and started thinking of ways in.

On the island Leon suddenly formed in the center of a red world. It was a jungle of Blood. Blood red trees, grass, and beast. Honestly it was hard to tell what was in fornt of you.

"This is the Blood Emperor's area. Looks more of a jungle. Nature has taken over after being left alone for so long."

"In my last life it had taken a few hours of people looking around and trying to find the way in. There were seven places you could enter from. Out of the seven only one could be used more then once. To enter you would have to read a part from the book written by the Blood Emperor, the Blood Codex."

"Everyone should have seen how I was able to enter. It should take a lot less time for them to figure out a way in. But this is good I want more people."

The thing is that after the Blood Island had locked everyone inside a barrier to fight to the death until one person survived. Before even half of the people on the island died the island ran out of energy and crashed on the mountain. It had used all the energy left in teleporting, holding up the barrier and staying afloat. That is why Leon gave out the news, he wanted the island to start the inheritance competition as fast as possible. So he could get the most use out of the core.

He summoned the Blood Sparrow and unsummoned the Frost snake. The abundance of Blood energy dominated other elements slowing its cultivation.

The Blood Sparrow in the other hand Looked at Leon wondering how did he find this heaven.

"This is just the beginning. You'll be going through a transformation soon. First we just need to get a few things. The BloodMoon Flower for you. There is also the ten thousand year Old Blood ginseng. And Finally the most important the Dream element Beast." Inside the Soul book the tiger Roared with excitement.

Leon quickly made his way through the jungle. "The Flower should be on the south western side of the island." He had the Blood bird use blood absorb constantly as it followed him.

There was strings of Blood that just flew out from the ground and nearby trees and formed more and more feathers on it's body. Although these feathers were a bit duller in color as they weren't as properly purified.

Leon jumped using the trees bark and landed on a branch. The place where he jumped off of had a Blood Arrow embedded in it.

Leon looks in front "A blood monkey? and a magic specialised one!" Seeing it channel another spell Leon used commanded the Blood Sparrow to use its Blood Feathers ability.

The Blood monkey was hit. It started screeching for help. Leon could hear more monkeys running his way. He took out his throwing knife and ended the monkeys life. He then had the Blood Sparrow absorb its blood as he ran with its body. After all the Blood energy was absorbed he threw it away and continued his run.

"Beast here have a lot of Blood energy." Leon said as he watched the Blood Sparrow reach the level nine redstar beast.

The Flower had been found by a Flamesmith Clan member in his past life that is why he knew where it was.

After running around a bit more Leon found it. It was five petaled with a white circle on the center of each of the petals. The petals thin and elegant. Curving like crescent moon.

Leon didn't go directly to it. A gigantic ape was behind it sleeping.

"That should be the Monkey King that evolved and abandoned it's fellow Monkeys to protect this flower."

Leon didn't have much of a choice. He used Formless aura and sneaked up to the Flower. He had to do it himself as other then the Blood Sparrow his other beast would be weakened. The Blood Sparrow didn't have any useful hidding Abilities as well.

Leon picked the Flower up and used Formless aura to continue spreading its aura. So the Monkey King wouldn't notice. After he was far enough he ran away with the Blood Sparrow.

Behind him the Monkey King woke up and loudly shouted.

Leon was far enough that it wouldn't sense the Flower.

The Blood Sparrow stared at the Flower what kind of use it had.

"You see this flower was one of the Blood Emperor's most prized possession. If this flower is attached to a beast it will constantly use Blood Absorb and refine the energy as well for the beast. So you won't have to use Blood Absorb anymore."

Leon didn't wait and placed the Flower on the Blood Sparrows head. The Flower grew out and attached itself. Blood Energy flowed in, Leon could see it with his eyes. At first it was fast then it slowed down to a pace the Blood Sparrow could handle. The energy then disappeared.

The Blood Sparrow closed its eyes. It then screeched. It had leveled up to the peak of Level nine redstar. It thought of pushing through to the orange star level but Leon stopped it.

"It should be about time more people figured out how to enter. I'll have to keep Formless aura up."

Leon wasn't worried about meeting most people. He could handle almost everyone under Summoning teacher. However a few summoning Masters also showed up in his past life. They came quite late but they also fought for the inheritance.

Leon had however underestimated Bly and his group. The had figured out the way to enter a while ago. Seeing him enter had given them a bigger hint then Leon had thought.

Bly had left with all the Bloodling Clan members. However before he left one of the members was bribed into telling the method to enter.

Although slowly, people started figuring out a way enter. Orion and Pace soon followed behind Bly. By the time Leon had gotten the flower almost everyone had entered.

Leon unaware of this started walking "I need to get the ten thousand year Old Blood Ginseng."

This wasn't even something he had heard about in his past life. It was something he knew the Blood Emperor's Arena would have. The jungle was all the evidence he needed. The Blood Ginseng should be the source of the jungle's formation or how could it have formed in an empty sub space?

The Blood Emperor probably created this island using this land because of the Blood Ginseng. But he never got to use it in his life.

"It should be at the center of the island." Leon and he Blood Sparrow left. The Monkey King still running around causing a storm as it smashed trees and chased after beast.

Running through the jungle Leon nimbly made it through. He avoided beast and didn't waste time.

The Blood Sparrow would sometimes stay behind and fight beast then chase after. With the BloodMoon Flower it felt energised in such a high Blood energy environment. It had grown tones of feathers. It looked weird as it had a flower growing on it's head. It felt that was a bit awkward at first but now loved it as the Flower did all the work in purifying the energy absorbed.

Leon and the sparrow reached the middle of the floating island. He felt the aura of someone so he quickly hid. He peeked at where the aura came from and he saw a Bloodling Clan member.

"He should have been given the job of scoring around. The Bloodling Clan did find the Blood ginseng in my past life." Leon thought. "He also has the cultivation of level seven Summoning Scholar. Most of his beast should be orangestar."

Leon had already reached level nine of Summoning Apprentice. However there was a big difference in ability. He couldn't fight the fight head in he would have to ambush the Bloodling Clan member.

Leon took out his throwing knives. He couldn't use the chain and scythe as the jungle made it to hard to use. He then coordinated with the Blood Sparrow and separated.

They both on either side of the man. The Blood Sparrow captured his attention by chirping. It then shot out its feathers. The man supraised jumped to the side dodging. He then started chanting to summon his soul book

The man had jumped closer to Leon. Leon was hidding using Formless Aura. He threw the knives and ended the man.

"Fool tried to summon a Soul book in plain sight, if you can't instantly summon it the least you can do is find some cover."

"But to think Bloodling members already made it to the center, looks like I gave them to much of a hint. I need to get the ginseng." Leon ran while the Blood Sparrow stayed to absorb the energy.

Running past a tree Leon felt a pressure of Blood energy fall on him.

"Such dense Blood energy the ginseng should be in front." Leon formed simple sealing runes using his soul energy. He then slowly snuck up on the ginseng.

The ten thousand year Old Blood Ginseng was placed planted on a small mound of dirt. Leon caught it with the hand with all the sealing runes and pulled it out. He then kept it in his spatial ring. The Blood Sparrow came as well and was excited by the energy. It told Leon it wasn't going to leave until all the energy here was absorbed.

Leon was about to agree but the whole island started shaking. A weird barrier grew out and the sky was slowly covered in red.

A voice was suddenly heard in everyone's head. It said something in a an ancient language that almost no one understood.

Leon was thrilled "Much faster then I expected to happen, the inheritance competition has begun."
