Let's Give It a Try

Today was the weekend, and Damien Sterling had cleared his schedule to spend time at home with Emma Hart and their children.

In the living room of the Sterling family mansion, Damien was struggling to calm a crying Joshua.

"Don't cry... don't cry..." he repeated, trying to soothe his inconsolable son.

Why does this kid always cry when he's with me? Do I really look that scary?

Emma Hart, holding a peacefully sleeping Gabriel, couldn't help but chuckle at Damien's increasingly frustrated expression.

"Pfft..." Emma burst into laughter.

"What's so funny?" Damien, feeling slightly offended, frowned at Emma.

"Sorry! Sorry... hahaha!" Emma couldn't stop herself.

Even more amusingly, Gabriel, seeing his mother laugh, began to giggle as well.

"Enough, you two!" Damien shouted, which only made Joshua cry harder and Emma and Gabriel laugh more.
