Emma Hart playfully responded, "Of course, why not?" as she casually leaned her head on Damien Sterling's shoulder.

Damien glanced at Emma from the corner of his eye, a smile fleeting across his face. Despite her reluctance, she still managed to bring him a moment of joy.

With a mischievous smile, Emma hadn't intended to lean on Damien's shoulder for long. 

However, as they turned a corner in the hallway, they encountered a woman of exquisite elegance and demeanor, just coming out of the beauty salon. 

Emma recognized that goddess-like aura; it could only belong to Sophia Greenwood.

Caught off guard, Emma stared at Sophia. 

Just a second ago, she was second-guessing her playful action, but now, she had completely forgotten her concerns, her head still resting on Damien's shoulder, creating a tense atmosphere.
