A Woman's Battle

Emma Hart swiftly scrolled through her screen, quickly becoming disinterested as the same few photos and a myriad of speculations filled her view. Anticipating the inevitable gossip at the company's entrance, she pocketed her phone. As expected, upon descending from her car, she encountered a few female colleagues who immediately started gossiping about Nina Waters, which was no surprise to Emma.

Heading straight upstairs, Emma noticed Nina Waters had arrived early. Approaching Nina, who appeared as arrogant as ever, Emma found this demeanor somewhat unexpected. After all, Emma had played a significant role in the recent headlines featuring Nina. An assistant, seemingly more aware of the dynamics, whispered to Nina, suggesting she ought to thank Emma. Emma, however, dismissed it with a wave of her hand.

Nina, ignoring her assistant, walked up to Emma, her high heels elevating her stature, "How could Mr. Sterling be involved?"
