Alex & Laurel
{Alex's POV}
“Alex, I know how worried you must feel over this, but you can't continue to torment yourself like this,” Gregory keeps encouraging me to have dinner.
Honestly, I don't have any appetite for anything at this moment. All I want is to see Laurel doing alright and hold her in my arms again. It's been three days since the kidnapping, still we don't have any leads yet. I really don't know what to do.
And here I am worried sick to my stomach but Gregory just keeps forcing me to eat.
“What do you want Alex?” He moves my head to face him. “Do you want Laurel to come back and you'd probably be dead out of starvation?”
“Gregory, I don't have the appetite,” I say seriously as if my ignoring him doesn't spell it out.
“You don't have the appetite or you have chosen to be depressed and sulk here thinking about Laurel.”
“If you were in this situation, maybe you'd understand me better.”
