Chapter 15

♡♡The Date♡♡

Avyanna was ready to go to the place Yelena mentioned. While France is pouting because she needs to go home now.

"Are you going to be okay?" France asked sincerely.

"Yes, you always worry about things. I am fine. Let's go out next week. I promise."

"Really?" France's eyes sparkled. "Okay. Okay, I'm going to plan what we're going to do."

"Okay."

France entered the carriage and it went away.

"Diane, Is it ready?" Avyanna asked the waiting maid.

"Yes, My Lady. Here it is." Diane gave a small box to Avyanna.

"Thank you. You're so reliable, Diane." Avyanna patted the head of her trusted maid, who is also a friend.

Diane's cheeks flushed pink, and she gave a small smile.

"I'm going to walk from here to exercise my strength. I'll be back before dinner. See you." Avyanna waved as she walked on her way.

The house they are currently staying in is in the capital, so they don't need carriages. Some ladies may. But Avyanna needed to exercise for her little and exciting plan.

Avyanna looked up at the sky. It's not so hot and there are a lot of trees, so there is a lot of shade. The air refreshes her body, and every time the wind blows, her hair goes with it.

She misses the city full of buildings. The city lights at night, but this kind of scenery that she can only imagine is much better.

She had arrived at Yelena's boutique, but she hadn't felt any tiredness. She stood there and waited for the other party to arrive.

At a distance, there was a clock tower, and the current time was 9 AM. She is just in time, but it seems that the other party hasn't arrived yet.

An hour later, she brushed her hair using her fingers. Her legs are getting numb because of standing. Her smile faded half an hour ago because people kept staring at her.

Then, at that time, a carriage stopped in front of her, and when the door opened, it revealed the person she was waiting for.

Yelena came down from the carriage and stood in front of her. Her heart thumps slower as she sees the very well-dressed lady in front of her.

Yelena had her hair braided on the side, and the white sleeveless dress she's wearing suits her so much.

"I'm sorry, I'm late!" Yelena exclaimed while huffing.

Avyanna smiled widely and put strands of Yelena's hair on the back of her ear.

Yelena was stunned and moved as she saw the smiling face of Avyanna. She felt something inside her stomach. It was ticklish and unbearable. It's like something is in her stomach.

'Is there something wrong with me? What is this?'

"It's fine. I also just got here." Avyanna lied.

"Is that so?" Yelena collected herself and stood properly. But the tingling sensation is still in her stomach. She can't help but hold it secretly. "Let's go then." She forced a smile then continued to walk.

"Where are we going?" Avyanna excitedly asked.

Yelena smiled broadly and returned Avyanna's gaze with sparkling eyes.

"Shopping!"

Avyanna suddenly became nervous. She thinks that she has an idea of what's going to happen.

And so it did.

They went to every store available. Enter and buy something.

One, two, three, and so on.

Since paper bags were still not invented at the time, big and small boxes are what Avyanna is holding. If only she learned how to float things earlier, this wouldn't happen.

Meanwhile, Yelena is pleased to see the latter struggling while she walks pleasantly. And an unexpected encounter happened.

"Woah!"

"Ah!"

Yelena looked back and saw Avyanna on the ground with the things she bought scattered.

"Lady Avyanna, are you alright?" She asked with concern.

"Haha. Yeah, I'm fine. However, the other is---Marquis?"

Yelena's ear twitched and she looked back to see who it was. And it was unexpected to see him here. Her face turned red.

"Ah.. you tripped?"

A man stood beside Roshan, and all of them looked up to see who it was. Another unexpected person to encounter on such a nice day.

It was the Duke of the North. Andie Nathan and Roshan is together?

"Ah, the Duchess is also here and... L-lady Brooke!" He immediately ran to Avyanna and stood her up. "My lady, are you okay?"

"Ah. Yeah, I'm fine."

Two displeased eyes stare at the two. Yelena and Roshan have a very dark aura about them.

Yelena is confused why she feels annoyed at the sight she's looking at. Even though the Roshan River is beside her.

Her attention should be on him. But no, she has this feeling inside her that she can't explain while looking at Andie and Avyanna. Especially with their hands touching.

Before she could even move, Roshan was the first to walk toward the two and pulled Andie away from Avyanna. She suddenly felt relief after Roshan did so.

"Why are you two together?" Avyanna asked, looking at the two men.

"Uh.. just some business."

"Business? This isn't the Palace Knight's office to do some business." Avyanna suspiciously stated.

"Uhm."

"And what's that? Are you buying some things?" Yelena raised an eyebrow.

"Well, something like that." Roshan answered this time and took the boxes.

"Oh. Those are Lady Royal's." Avyanna also sat down and took the other boxes that were Yelena's.

Yelena and Andie watched the two pick up the boxes. They are like their servants, so they got embarrassed and helped them picked up the boxes.

After the encounter, the four of them decided to go to the nearest restaurant where they could eat.

They ordered food as they liked.

"So, why are you together? It's not a sight I see everyday." Avyanna said, sipping on her juice.

"Uh... it.." Andie avoided her gaze and secretly hit Roshan, signaling to him that he should answer.

Avyanna noticed this, and unknowingly, a smile formed on her lips.

"It's uh... I— I lost a bet on him, so I'm assisting him in purchasing items." Roshan answered while smiling. "How about you two? This isn't the first time I've seen you two being close, but it seems weird that you two are close so suddenly."

"I, uh."

Like Andie did, Yelena avoided her gaze and secretly hit Avyanna. Avyanna finds it funny and snorts.

'What's with these two tsundere?'

"Uh, didn't we explain it back in the palace? We wanted to get close after things happened." Avyanna said confidently.

"Is that so?"

The awkward silence consumed the four of them.

"Ah. Yelena, isn't your birthday two weeks from now?"

Yelena was surprised that Roshan remembered. That made her happy.

'I'm glad that you remember my birthday.'

"Yeah, it is," Yelena replied

"Then? Are you going to throw a party?" Andie asked.

"Well, yeah. It's my 20th birthday, so I guess I should." Yelena awkwardly said.

"We'll be there." Roshan and Andie said.

"O-okay."

Yelena found it odd that Avyanna became silent suddenly. They talked and talked until they didn't notice the time passing by.

"It's almost sundown. We should get going." Andie said.

"That's right," Yelena said.

"See you, Lady Yelena, Lady Brooke." Roshan waved goodbye.

They parted their ways, and Avyanna is still silent.

"Hey!" Yelena annoyingly snaps her fingers in front of Avyanna. "My carriage is here."

"Ah. Is it already late?" Avyanna seemed to be spaced out.

"Are you okay? Do you feel pain anywhere?" Yelena immediately asked.

Avyanna shakes her head. "No." She answered.

"By the way, your birthday is a Uhm.. Do you want anything? But I'm sure you can get what you want, just in case." Avyanna held the back of her head while avoiding glances.

"Ah. No." Yelena stepped up on the carriage. "I don't need gifts. Just attend the party. That's alright." She was about to go in when Avyanna grabbed her hand.

"I'll work hard! I'll present you the best dress any woman hasn't worn yet." Determination in Avyanna's eyes.

"Okay." Yelena took back her hand. "I'll look forward to it."

"Lady Royal."

"Yeah?" Yelena looked back again.

"Next time, I want to go out with you again."

Yelena's heart suddenly rampages inside her chest. And that tingling sensation inside her stomach is back.

'What was that? It's just an invitation! There is no reason to react in this manner! And why am I even reacting like this? What even is this kind of feeling?' Yelena screamed in her head.

"W-whatever." Yelena certainly rolled her eyes and got inside the carriage.

She held her chest and stomach. That felt weird.

"I might really need a doctor."
