Chapter – 98 (Waking Up)

At this time, Ouranos who stays in the Room of Prayer which is located directly under Guild opened his eyes. He remained silent and didn't say anything as if waiting for someone. After sometime, someone appears in the room and look at Ouranos who has also turned his gaze at him. The person is wearing black robes that cover their face, making it impossible to tell their gender or any other features. This person is none other than Fels. The one who Primis met on his first day on Orario. He is also the one who sent a Level 6 Assassin to guard Eina from shadows after consulting with Ouranos.
Fels: Should we still maintain our cooperation with "The Black Swordsman"? After killing the Goddess, he is now the enemy of almost every God in Orario. Once they will find out his location, they will definitely send their Familia to attack and kill him. So, I don't think there is any point in keeping our cooperation with him now.
Ouranos didn't respond and remain silent. He has already received the news from Heavens. As well as the complaint from Ishtar that "The Black Swordsman" destroyed her entire Familia and even killed her a Goddess. So, she is demanding justice and compensation for the loss. Let alone that he has even received the news from "Royman Mardeel", the head of the Guild that many Gods and Goddess are requesting an audience to meet him. Ouranos already know what they want. They want Ouranos to release the wanted warrantee for "The Black Swordsman". This will be a proof that Guild has no intention of helping "The Black Swordsman" and won't interfere even if other Familia attack him.
Ouranos: Fels, when you first came to told me that "The Black Swordsman" can help us with Xenos case, even though I didn't believe it fully but I still think it was better than nothing. Hence, I decided to accept it even though I still have some doubts that time. But now I think that....
Fels: I know. It was a wron-
Ouranos: It was the best decision I ever made.
Fels: ...…. Huh?
Ouranos: Fels, no matter what happens we should keep on maintaining our cooperation with "The Black Swordsman". Even if it means we have to offend everyone in Orario.
Fels: WHAT?
Ouranos: One more thing, try to make our relation with him even better. If he asks something, give it to him directly. I gave you full authority here. You don't need to ask my permission. Just fulfilled all of his demands. No matter how severe.
Fels: B-But why?
Ouranos just shakes his head at Fels question and continued.
Ouranos: You don't need to know that. Just remember to never make an enemy out of him. If he is with us then I am sure there will be no hurdle in our path.
Fels didn't understand why the value of "The Black Swordsman" rise such exponential in Ouranos mind. To the extent he didn't even mind offending all other Gods and Goddesses. But since Ouranos has no intention of speaking, Fels turns around and left. As for Ouranos, he is looking into distance and is deep in thought. If someone will look into his eyes with concentration then they will definitely see a tinge of fear in them.
'Ouranos: Those three giant explosions are not what they appear to be. It may appear to a strong magic spell in the eyes of mortals or Gods/Goddesses but the real truth can only be seen by the Primordial Gods.'
Thinking about those explosions again, the fear in Ouranos eyes and heart increased. Then a cold sweat appears on his forehead.
'Ouranos: That was the power of.... Chaos. Against that even Primordial God like me have to be wary of, let alone other Gods. The power of "Chaos" is at even higher order than us Gods "Divine Power". And none of the Gods possess the power of "Chaos". Not even Primordial Gods can use the power of "Chaos".'
Then Ouranos went deep into his thoughts. He started to think of Dark Period. The Dark Period is the term for the era in which a group of radical Familias and Gods known as Evilus were able to roam free within Orario and commit all kinds of heinous acts such as the Nightmare on the 27th Floor. He still remembers how countless people and Adventurers died that time.
'Ouranos: If only you have appeared at that time. *sigh* Since none of the Gods can use the power of "Chaos" this means it was your power isn't it, "The Black Swordsman". I hope with you here Orario won't have to face such period again.'
Then Ouranos closed his eyes and concentrates on using his divinity to keep monsters from coming out of dungeon. He has already decided to fully support "The Black Swordsman". Now whether his decision is right or wrong, he doesn't know. It is a big gamble he is willing to take. Wondering whether "The Black Swordsman" bring prosperity to Orario or Dark Period will return again.
And so, time went by.
No one heard of "The Black Swordman" after his deed in Entertainment District. Rumors started to spread all over. Some saying "The Black Swordsman" died in one of the explosions that appear in Entertainment District; Some saying he left Orario because he was afraid that other Gods and Familias will kill him; Some saying that he was found and is already killed and so on. Situation in Orario is becoming more and more chaotic.
Just like Primis had guessed, some Gods have already sent their Familia members to look for him. These members always disturb other people but no one can go against them except the strongest Familia. They always say that they are trying to find the criminal. Yes, criminal. Even though Ouranos refused to have audience with any of Gods or Goddess. Some still made a wanted poster of "The Black Swordsman". And the one who will provide even a little information will be rewarded 1,000,000 valis.
This amount of money is enough to arose the greed of many people. Especially those who attack civilians to steal their money. Loki, Hephaestus or other Familia want to help the civilians but they can't. Why? Because Nobles have also made their move and are supporting all these people and the Familia. They also keep on sending their troops which also disturbs the people. And since Guild is still maintaining silence and is not saying anything, these people started to become more and more bold.
Nobles failed to find the one who was responsible for disappearing of more than 17 of their Lineages. But if they remain silent then everyone will start to think that the Nobles are pushover. So, when Nobles found out about the bodies of some of their members in Entertainment District, they decided to a scapegoat. And "The Black Swordsman" become that scapegoat. So, things became very chaotic.
One month Later.
It is a world where no one can enter except the world's owner and his family member. The world is not so big and only has the area of 9 km. There is grassland everywhere and in the very middle of the world there is a barrier that covers 100m of area. No one know what is inside the barrier except the owner. At the side of the barrier there is a house. But no one is inside. At the front of the house, at the distance of almost 2 km there is a huge tree. The tree height reach 500m and is full of leaves.
The tree is full of vigor and its leaves are beautiful and lustrous. But if someone watch closely, they will feel like that the tree is covering someone. As if protecting someone so that he or she won't get disturbed by the light. Right under the tree, there is a woman. She is a Heaven-Topping Beauty. She appears to be in 20s and have very long dark than black hairs. She has very beautiful Violet eyes. She is wearing black and grey color dress. But even the dress can't hide her godly figure and the overwhelmingly beautiful eyes along with snowy white skin already let her stand in an unrivaled position.
But even with all this, the woman has blank look and her eyes are emotionless. The woman is not looking around or anything. She is just looking down at the face of the someone while caressing his hairs. The person who woman is looking at has the Heavenly-Handsome face. His head is on the woman lap while he is in deep slumber. Even though the woman is emotionless and has blank look, the way she is caressing his hair shows how much care and love she has for the person.
The person is wearing black pants with a black belt that had a large silver buckle, a black V-necked shirt that was worn underneath a black trench-coat with gray lining going down the sleeves, and black boots with silver plates to protect his shins. He has a silver plate worn on the left side of his coat, and a pair of black fingerless gloves. He wore a strap that went over his right shoulder and under it to wrap around his left side.
On the left-side of person lay a sword. It is a pitch-black sword with trims of gray. It has a black hilt connected to a hand guard that drops down on the right side. Attached to this elongated area of the hand-guard is part of Elucidator's blade, so as to better aid the user in retaining their grip on the sword when it is being used. The blade is completely black like the rest of the sword and the said blade is outlined in a light gray.
Let's put the sword aside for now. If someone will look at the pair right now then they will think that they are couple made by Heavens. At this point, the woman stopped caressing his hairs and keeps on observing his face. The person eyelids moved slightly and then he opened his eyes. The person eyes are blood-red and there are Three-Tomoe in them. The power which is being emitted by the eyes are so much that even Gods can't look directly into them. The eyes are not only emitting a lot of power but now there is a lot of wisdom in them. Like there is nothing that can be hidden from them.
Even though the eyes are emitting so much power, it didn't affect the woman in the slightest. Her Violet eyes met the person blood-red eyes. The woman still has the same blank and the emotionless look but the person can tell that the woman is very happy that he has woken up. Not only the woman but also the tree behind her, on which she is leaning also appears to be happy that the person wakes up. Both the woman and the person keep on looking into each other eyes for sometimes. Soon, a small smile appears on both of their face.
Ophis: Welcome Back, Primis.
Primis: I am back.
On this day, after one month "The Black Swordsman, Primis Rigla" wakes up from his deep slumber. Then he opens his status window.
