Chapter 7

TAMMY'S POV

I was really angry when I left that day, why would he call me a slut?. He doesn't even know me before judging me.

Well three days has already passed and I haven't heard from him or seen him, not that I care though, I don't even want to see him anymore

I didn't go to work today, I had a day off so I decided to rest. My lil brother is at school and Ella is at work, she's a receptionist in a hotel.

So I was all alone, I decided to watch a movie, I grabbed a bowl of ice cream and sat down, scrolling through Netflix to find a perfect movie to watch but none is tickling my fancy at the moment. I decided to take a stroll, I hurriedly finished my ice cream and went upstairs to wear something cozy because it's chilly outside.

I went outside and decided to go to the park. Almost getting there I saw a woman that seem to have a problem with her car, I walked towards her to help

"Good morning ma, can I help you?" I asked her softly

"My car broke down and I didn't carry my bodyguards along Because I wanted to be alone, now I'm stuck here" she looked at if she'll cry any moment

"Lemme help you out, please go inside and start the car" she quickly went inside,

I found the problem and after much trial I got it fixed. She came down happily and gave me a tight hug, it felt really good and her perfume was so calm and nice

"Thank you so much dear, what's your name?" she asked softly

"I'm Tammy" I replied

"nice name for a beautiful girl" she said making me blush slightly, she went inside and brought a huge amount of money

"Please take this" she offered, I refused the offer

" I can't take it" I stood my ground

She entered inside the car again and brought out a card "Please take this, I'm expecting you"

"OMG you're the owner of PRIDE" I shouted, it's the best jewelry company, every woman's dream

"Yes I am and we're hosting a very big party to celebrate years of prosperity, I'm hoping to see you there, Please don't disappoint me" she said with hopeful eyes

"I won't" I said happily, this might be my only chance to ever see that place "thank you so much" I gave her a tight hug

"No thank you" she said, I smiled and hugged her again

She entered her car and drove off. I changed my mind and decided to go back home instead of the park, I am really excited

I decided to call Ella to share the good news

"Hey babes guess what?" I squealed

"What?" she asked with a tired voice

"I was invited to attend PRIDES 30th anniversary" I said happily

"Wait wait wait, you mean the jewelry company?"

"Yes, I met the CEO"

"Are you serious, wait do you know her. Why didn't you tell me that you know her"

"I don't know her personally though, I met her today"

"You took lunch to her or what"

"I don't deliver food to people"

"Oh really, how about Williams" I could feel the smirk

"That's different, I was forced to do it" I frowned

"Forced or not, you did it"

"Just shut up, I regretted doing it but let's keep that aside. I want you to help me out, I need to buy a party gown"

"Well I'm really sorry Tams but I can't help you, my mom called and I need to go and see her" she said with a sad voice

"Is Mom sick?" i was worried already

"Something like that but it isn't serious"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure, Hmm Tams" she called

"Yes"

"I have an idea, why not wear that gold dress, you look good in it"

"You mean my mother's dress?"

"Yes Tams that one, it suits you"

Well I really love that dress, it's strapless has a slit, it's a simple but elegantbdress and I think it's perfect

"Yeah I think I'll wear it"

"You can use my red heels and purse" She added

"Wow thank you so much Ella"

"You're welcome"

"Wait a minute Tams"

"What?"

"Do you know the name of that woman"

"You mean the owner of PRIDE?" I asked with uncertainty

"Yes, Oh my God Tammy, I think this is destiny" she squealed and I was confused, what is she talking about "She's Williams George's mother and her name is Cecilia George" she said and everywhere suddenly became hot for me

"You must be kidding me right?" I felt like passing out

"No"

"Wait let me check" I ran to my laptop and searched her name, her picture popped up and when I scrolled down I saw his picture and another girl I'm guessing to be his sister because she looks like Cecilia a lot. Damnnnn this is not good

"you've seen it right" she asked over the phone

"Yes, I don't think I'll go" my heart was broken already

"You have to go, maybe you and Williams can sought things out" she suggested

"I don't want to sought anything out, on a second note I'll just avoid him" I place my hands on my head

"Not a bad idea, do well to keep the juicy gist I want to know every detail" I know she's winking

"Whatever" I said and she chuckled. I cut the call and fell on the bed

"Why so Ubiquitous Williams" I shouted
