"I didn't recognize you until just now; I can't see that well in the dark," Wang Jingyuan explained. "Or during the day, actually. I'm nearsighted."
"Nearsighted?" Liu Xiaochen had never heard of the term before, but he understood the other things that Wang Jingyuan said. "You mean, your eyesight isn't very good?"
Wang Jingyuan nodded as she returned Feng Ming Sword to its scabbard. "It gets worse at night because it's so dark."
"Hm. I see." Liu Xiaochen made a mental note to look through the medical books for precious herbs that were good for improving eyesight.
Wang Jingyuan watched Liu Xiaochen's expression carefully for any signs of anger or offense that she barged into his private garden and disrupted his practice session.
