Chapter 67 (BONUS CHAPTER)

Title: Interference...

As he slashed Big Mom's eyes, Jaw can't help but rejoice a little.

 Big Mom is a person who is naturally prone to anger. This makes her lose her ability to use Observation Haki quite a lot. Her rage makes her worse than an animal in the usage of Observation, she can't be calm and now with her lost vision. She can't really pinpoint where Jaw is, as Jaw hides his presence and attacks Big Mom from behind her.

Fwish!

Hundreds of lightning-quick hits land on her back and Jaw smirks slightly at this. Blood spews out of Big Mom like a fountain.

"AAAAAAAAA…" Screeches Big Mom loudly, her Conqueror's Haki flowing out of her. But Jaw isn't worried about none of this as he attacks Big Mom again.

But as he is about to do so, he gets a vision of the future that will happen in the next six seconds. {A giant magma fist will devour him and Big Mom.}

Jaw immediately turns around and sees that a giant magma fist is coming towards him. He has a calm look on his face, and his mind calculates what could have brought such a response from the marines.

'I see… so the marines finally caught wind of this and interfered. Welp, killing Big Mom now wouldn't be beneficial for me and would only help the marines. But if they want to fight me… I will show them that it isn't such a good idea to do so.' Mused Jaw as he saw that Big Mom was now throwing <Ikkoku Sovereignty> at him. Creating a huge blast towards him. 'Hmmm… so she is now moderately calm enough to at least be able to sense my location.'

He dodges the sword blast from Big Mom and sees that the blast and the giant magma fist were going to collide.

Baaam!

They clashed and the sword blast easily overpowered the magma fist, shattering it to a million pieces.  Jaw on the other hand is a little surprised by the nice coincidence.

'Well, I guess I better finish this here. I wanted to get Big Mom's Soul-Soul Fruit for one of my kids. But it seems like that day won't be today.' Contemplated Jaw, he knows that continuing any longer would get both him and Big Mom dead. So he will just leave Big Mom behind, and that then becomes a win-win situation for him. If they leave Big Mom alive, then he can later come and take her fruit by killing her. If they kill Big Mom, then he will just take over her territory. The marines can't do anything in the New World, this is the place where the Yonko rule the seas.

So Jaw just uses <Geppo> to fly off, and he takes a deep breath and yells out. "CHILDREN!!! RETREAT!!!"

His scream vibrates all through the island and everyone can hear it. His children and fishmen crew immediately start retreating, even Kisame who is usually very headstrong listens to his father and retreats. Leaving his fight against Katakuri unfinished, and even Katakuri is no longer interested in Kisame as he heard Big Mom's scream of pain when her eyes were slashed.

….

Not even a minute later huge explosions sound out as marine battleships start bombing Whole Cake Island.

Jaw just takes his children and Smoothie which now has all of her limbs cut off. They all start retreating to the depths of the sea, the non-devil fruit user siblings carrying the ones who have a devil fruit underwater.

Of course, the escape couldn't be so easy as the water starts to freeze. But as it does so…

BOOOOM!

Two Marine battleships are cut in half, Jaw is midair with his sword in his hand as he cuts the ships, and he looks at the perpetrator. 

Aokiji, he is touching the seawater as he looks at Jaw. He clearly gets the message, if he tries to freeze the ocean anymore, Jaw will start hunting the marines. 

The marines aren't here to exactly pick up a fight with Jaw, so they stop their attack against his children and start attacking Whole Cake Island.

One hour later and the whole Jaw Crew and Jaw's Children are far away from the battlefield. Jaw is swimming alongside his children as he looks at Kakashi who is being carried by Kisame on his back.

"Good job on catching someone like her." Congratulates Jaw, while pointing at Smoothie who now has a bubble over her head. "We can use such a devil fruit like hers."

Kakashi opens his mouth and speaks a little tiredly by saying. "No problem dad… so did you beat Big Mom?"

Jaw nods his head. "Yep, absolute defeat for her. I even took away her vision."

Kisame smiles at this. "Cool! That means that Big Mom will lose her Yonko status then and we will take over her territory!"

Jaw smirks at this, but he shakes his head. "If it was only that easy. The World Government will never allow me to even grow beyond a certain point. They know that they can't hold territory in the New World, because the resources required to keep it would be tremendous on their part. They can't exactly start recruiting pirates to hold their territories like some Yonko can. They have the Warlords Of The Sea, but they know that trusting any of them is a huge mistake. I mean Jinbe here wouldn't give a second thought to the World Government's call if I ordered him to… wouldn't you Jinbe…"

As Jaw says that he gives a side glance to Jinbe who is swimming alongside him. Jinbe just nods at this, he knows better than to say anything in front of Jaw. 

Kakashi has a curious look, especially since he can't swim underwater he has had a long time to think about the recent battle. 

"So, how do you think this war will end like father?" Asks Kakashi, expressing his usual curiosity in this situation. 

A mysterious smile appears on Jaw's face as he hears the question. "How do you think it will end Kakashi?"

"I think that the war will continue, and in the end, Big Mom will be destroyed. So after that either another Yonko will appear to replace Big Mom... or the rest of the Emperors of The Sea will rip apart Big Mom's territories." Estimated Kakashi while looking at his father in affirmation if this is the correct answer or not.

Jaw looks at Kakashi with amusement. He had a look in his eyes that said that he knows something that Kakashi doesn't. "Well… that is a solid possibility. But me and Big Mom will most likely end up in a ceasefire again. Or even alliance if push comes to shove, I did kill a bunch of her children. But this is war, she knows that people die. Plus she doesn't necessarily care for her kids. She is the cruelest to her children, families are not as our family is. Also, you forgot to take into calculation outside forces like the World Government or other Yonko who don't want me to grow stronger."

Kakashi frowns at this, he still can't see how this will come to be. They went and humiliated Big Mom, he just can't comprehend how someone like Big Mom would decide that.

He once again looks at his father's eyes. Jaw like always has that reassuring smile on his face. 

'Dad must have seen something that I can't see. I don't know how this would be possible, but if it's dad. Then he should be able to do it.' Contemplates Kakashi as he goes back to planning on what his father is thinking and how he can predict something like that.

Jaw on the other hand is thinking something completely different. 'Also Kakashi, you forgot to calculate the influence I have in the world and I will have. Big Mom… she doesn't really have any choice. If she survives this marine attack, which she likely will. After that, the New World will start to become my playground.'

We will see how this situation develops, just because the MC thinks what will happen. It doesn't really have to happen as he can be wrong.
