Let the Game Begin!

It was a peaceful day for the straw hats pirates, the sea was calm, the sun was up and pleasant, and the air was soothing.

The overly active captain of the straw hats, Luffy was sleeping next to usopp while holding chopper. The vice-captain Zoro was practicing swordsmanship to better himself. The perverted cook Sanji was cooking for the lovely 'nami-swann' their navigator, and the newest addition Nico Robin was calmly reading books.

All in all, it was a nice day for them to rest after the exhausting fight in Arabasta. Though how long the peace will last is a different thing all together!

--3rd POV—

*KABOOM*

A thunderous sound was heard all over the world of one piece, every marine, pirate, revolutionary, bounty hunter, world government, and even normal people were startled by it.

Everyone started looking around for the thing that caused it, but nothing was seen except a large pillar of light that has suddenly descended from the sky, at the center of the sea and it was huge. People started covering in fear thinking some god has descended, and all the people in power started observing the pillar with suspicion and some with greed.

"Woah! What is that?! Has the realm of gods come down to earth?!"

"I don't know! But it is beautiful!"

"Let's go! I want to see it close"

Everyone was captivated by it, and some prate and marines tried to get close to it, but they were unable to do so, as if some invisible force was preventing them to do that!

(With the Marines)

Garp, Sengoku and the three admirals were looking at the pillar with seriousness

"Sengoku, what do you think that is?"

"I don't know, Kizaru attack that thing!"

"Roger, Sengoku-san~"

A yellow light shot out of Kizaru's finger towards the pillar, but it was bounced back towards the marine base.

"It is coming back, Kizaru stop it!"

Kaziru jumped and deflected the light towards the sea, and it exploded

Everybody was dumbfounded from what happened, an admiral's attack did not do anything and on top of that it was also deflected back to them!

Seeing this Garp sighed heavily,

"Sigh~ leave it sengoku, whatever that thing is, it is powerful, I doubt even I can do anything to it"

"Yes, let us just observe what happens next, the sea is getting complicated day by day"

(Whitebeard pirate group)

"Dad, we got news from the spies that something is stopping people from getting close to that thing!"

"Gurararara! then let's wait and see what it is, don't worry! With me here no one can harm my famiy! Gurararara!"

"Okay dad!"

(Big Mom pirates)

"Mom! The spies informed that we cannot get close to it, and even attacks do not work on it"

"Mama mama! interesting, then send more people, whatever it is, it will be valuable!"

"Yes Mom"

"Kaido-san, we got news that we cannot get close to it, something is prevent everyone from entering"

"Worororo~ then keep observing, something interesting is happening, those bastards will also try to get there! Worororo"

"Yes Kaido-san"

Same thing happened all over the world, all the people who tried to attack it, got to taste their own strength. Everybody decided to wait and see what the mysterious light is and what chaos will it bring to the world.

(Inside the mysterious light)

A young man can be seen smiling, wearing grey jeans, a black tee and a blue hoodie over it accompanied with blue sports shoes.

The young man has a kind face, with blue eyes showing love, mischievousness and deep intellect. Nobody could deny that he was one of the most handsome people to be in the world.

"Yes! The stage is set, the people have their attention here, everything is perfect!

Then let's start The Game Show!"

(Outside World)

The light suddenly scattered, and a huge stage can be seen floating on top of the sea, with a golden glow from below highlighting it, making people feel like, they have put their eyes upon something divine!

Everybody was shocked! Not just because of the sheer beauty of the thing but also because everyone can see what is happening on it and someone was there on the mysterious thing, like they were standing near that person!

When people were trying to figure out what is happening, they all heard the person speaking

"HELLOOO EVERYONE!!!!!"

This got everyone's attention, the voice sounded as if it came from somewhere close, but the man was clearly kilometers away from them.

"I am Clyne Zepter, the host and Judge of this wonderful gameshow that will start in a few moments"

Everybody was confused, what is the young man saying? Gameshow? Host? many thoughts were there in everybody's mind, but one thing was common in them was the young man Clyne looked like none they have ever seen.

"I know everybody has many questions, and I assure you everything will be answered in due time! Till then let me explain about what is exactly happening, and what am I doing here!"

Now everyone was paying attention, everyone was wondering what the purpose of this is, because something this grand will not be done just for some small reason, it will surely have a big impact on the sea.

"As you have already heard from me, I am the host of the gameshow! And I mean it in literal sense! I am here for hosting a big game, which involves you people competing with each other and getting rewards for winning of course! which will be witnessed by the whole world!"

Many faces showed amazement but that was it, it sounded fun for many people, but many people also felt it was disappointing. And as if sensing their feelings, the young man started speaking again.

"Hmm~ Is that disappointment I am sensing? well I cannot blame you, as you people do not even know anything about the rewards and I cannot reveal much or there will be no fun, but I can tell you some things the rewards are capable of!"

People were interested what kind of rewards are there, but people in power of the world simply watched it bored thinking what can even a 'meager' reward do. Oh~ how they were in for a shock!

"Okay, let's see what we have here…"

A green liquid vial, suddenly popped out on the host's hand.

"A liquid that can heal any injuries or disease and get you back on your top condition!"

This immediately caught everyone's attention, but not more than a certain ship carrying the strongest man in the world.

(Whitebeard pirate group)

"Daddy, that is!"

Marco exclaimed shocked, because that was the things which whitebeard truly needed right now.

Whitebeard did not answer, just stared at the green liquid, then the host with seriousness.

The vial disappeared from his hand.

"Oh, now what do we have here!"

In place of the green liquid vial, was now a sword, which was beautiful to say the least. Everybody awed at its beauty, but very few strong people who had many battles experience under them, became alert instantly!

"The demonic sword Murasame! Also known as one-cut killer! A sword which will instantly kill you if you were cut by it even once!"

This shocked everyone! A sword which can kill if you were even cut once?! Every swordsman got greedy, and even Hawkeye was not an exception.

"And finally, we have…."

The host paused, like a bomb was about to drop on them

A gate suddenly appeared beside him, with a skull decoration as borders, and it was giving a creepy feeling. Everyone started to think, what can this gate do, except a skeleton who recognized the feeling of dread that crept out of the gate.

"A door connecting the living world with the world of the dead! Helps in reviving the ones who died obviously!"

And the bomb impacted the whole world, every person had their mouth open after hearing that!

"Reviving the dead people?!"

"I can revive my friend's wife with that!"

Everyone started thinking the same, reviving their dead friend, family, and even enemies. The world surely plunged into chaos, and everyone was excited thinking what they can do with the rewards, but there was one group of people who were feeling rather gloomy.

(Marine Base)

Everybody was silent, waiting for the marshal to speak.

Sengoku, the current marine marshal, was silent. He was having a complicated mood, he looked towards everyone, seeing them having the same thoughts, he finally decided to speak.

"Everyone knows, about the young man named Clyne Zepter, and what he presented before us which was terrifying in every sense to say, and regarding this matter I was contacted by the elders."

He paused a bit, seeing that no one is speaking, he continued.

"We have doubts about those things being real but seeing everything that happened and how he can reach the entire world without any exception, the credibility is certainly high, that also brings us to our main issue. The possibility of revival of the pirate king Gold Roger"

Murmurs broke around, everybody was saying things about this matter.

"Silence! As I was saying this is an important matter, which can cause chaos in the sea, so we need to counter that"

Everyone was silent, then Aokiji spoke,

"But how do we do that, as we have tried to go near, but something is stopping people to reach it"

He has a valid point, as a barrier which no one was able to penetrate protected the stage from anyone.

Everybody was thinking for a way, then suddenly Tsuru spoke,

"How about we just use participation as a mean to contact the young man?"

Sengoku looked at Tsuru, and gestured her to continue

"As the host said, people will get to participate, and he did not put any restriction to it, so, we can confirm we marines are also a part of the list of people that can participate in it, so when a marine gets selected, he can contact the young man on behalf of the marine"

Everyone's eyes lit up after hearing that, and Sengoku was also feeling happy!

"Yes, we can do that! Tsuru, you always have the right solution!"

Tsuru lightly smiled and accepted the praise.

"Inform all the marines of the plan and tell them to check the information area to know the terms we want to demand!"

"Yes Mr Marshal!"

A marine nearby, immediately went to do the instructed.

(Outside world)

World was still in chaos, but then they heard the young man speak again

"I guess I have everyone excited?! Now then, without further delay, Let the Game Begin!"
