The Auction Begins!!

Lars woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. Today was a big day, after all, he had sent the man named Morgan to get information on when the auction started. Fin never told him when it would start, he only assumed that the man was too excited and forgot. Lars also found that Morgan was good at Intel and getting information. Morgan gave him information on the latest pirates causing a ruckus around the east blue. The Spade Pirates were one of them. This was, of course, Portgas D Ace Pirate crew. Lars ate breakfast with Jayce and Mason who he planned to take to the Auction with him. "Afterward, you guys should prepare, have Baron set up the teleportation pads. Finish up on the recruiting and teleport to the base once he is done." Lars felt like things were gonna get ugly at the Auction, this was because of those cocky nobles. Lars found out that the royal family wouldn't show up from his intel.

Alright Boss, We will tell Baron and then meet you near the gate in 2 hours." Mason finished his food and left to find Baron. Jayce nodded and followed behind Mason who'd already left. Lars left the house into the forest, Lars went a little deeper and saw an area that was completely frozen over. The place looked like an Ice forest, then heard Bird screams. Lars looked up and saw 2 huge Birds, one was shooting lightning and the other was firing Icy wind. This was both Sena and Sarah sparring with each other and training their Devil Fruits. This was the first time he'd actually seen people in action fighting but this was no normal fight, they were both huge birds!!

The weather was now changing in this area, it was now a sudden downpour and thunderstorms, it was also very cold. The temperature was at least below Zero, Lars felt a sense of danger and moved away. Lars knew he couldn't get hurt from the cold or anything, he just instinctively got out of dodge. The mother and daughter duo were going at it, the sound of bird cries were radiating the area. After about 30 minutes Lars saw The Thunderbird crashing to the ground, this was of course Sena. Sena was still in good condition, this was probably due to her High-Speed Regeneration Ability.

Ah man, I lost again, this isn't fair. You can freeze things, mom you're cheating!" Sena seemed to be butthurt about her loss as she complained. "haha, Oh my little Sena, you still have some ways to go before you can compare to mommy." Sarah laughed at her daughter minor complaint. "Just you wait mom, ill get stronger and you'll see." Sena was a little downhearted but recovered quickly, she wasn't someone who would give up so easily. Lars who was waiting and watching the whole fight was secretly elated and surprised at this experience. These two were already at such a strong level, was this the strength of a 9.2 and 9.3 talent? Then what about a higher grade, like a 10? Lars had to cultivate these two, they were going to play an important roll in his forces for sure.

Lars began to explain to them what it was and what it was capable of doing, he even told Sena about the time he was able to knock out the men without touching them at that time. Sena was shocked, she wanted the ability to knock out a great crowd of people effortlessly. Lars told her only certain people would have such a Haki ability and she was qualified for it, including her mother. This made Sena jump with joy and her mom smiled brightly knowing they could accomplish such a feat. Lars had been talking to them for about an hour and 50 minutes, he had to jet and meet up with Jayce and Mason. Lars simply told them to find everyone and gather them around the house where Baron was to preparing the teleportation device.

[Author Note: Lars can use the system to instantly remove his clothes and put them on. I just wanted to let you guys know since some people might question it.]

Lars rushed to the Gate and saw Jayce and Mason waiting, it was time to go to the Auction house. Jayce was dressed in an all gray suit with a white bow tie on, Jayce had white gloves on with gray dress shoes. Mason had all black on with a black Jacket that said Mad dog on the back of it, it had a 3 headed dog spitting fire. The front part of the jacket said beware and don't provoke, it looked quite intimidating. His chest was exposed and he was wearing boots that were all black. This made lars a little speechless, he did give him good material to make some good clothes. Mason had some woman who was good at sewing make his clothing, what an expert she is, lars thought.

Wow, you guys look good. Alright, let head to the Auction." Both of them nodded and rushed to the auction. Lars had some people on stand by near the Auction house for 1 reason. Lars had asked Fin to sell his Paramecia Devil fruit at the start of the Auction so he could give the money to his people to go food shopping as fast as possible. Lars even gave them a bigger space Storage ring.

Author Note: I didn't explain this but Lars gave the Devil Fruits to his people to give to Fin one by one as the Auction progresses. They are giving him the devil fruits slowly one at a time since lars doesn't trust any of them. They are even the ones to take the fruit to the people in exchange for the money.

They arrived and was greeted by some short guy that looked like a goblin. The man guided them into the Auction House and lars showed him his V.I.P Card, the man was stunned for a moment then guided them to the V.I.P room. "Wow, boss you even managed to get a V.I.P room? You are too amazing!!" Mason flattered shamelessly. "Hey Mason, don't be such an ass kisser, my dude," Jayce said with a tinge of disdain "What did you say Jayce? You wanna go?" Mason's eyes flashed as if he was ready for a fight. "Okay you two, now is not the time for that. The Auction will begin at any minute now, so let sit and wait for it to start." Lars already knew that these two didn't get along well, or at the very least were always competing. Mason snorted and took a seat awaiting the start of the Auction, Jayce smiled at Mason but at the same time he wasn't smiling, there seemed to be contempt in his face.

The Auction house was quite big and there were tons of people packed below the Auction stage. Fin didn't disappoint and brought out Lars Paramecia Devil fruits to Auction First. Lars had the chefs, doctors, and Protectors on stand by to collect the money to buy medicine and mainly food. They didn't need much, they would collect the money from the 1st and 2nd devil fruits sold to buy food and medicine. "Hello Everyone, I am Fin your Host today. As everyone knows, we have a special occasion for today's Auction. Yes, that right, we will be Auctioning Devil Fruits." As soon as he said that, the whole Auction went into an uproar. The nobles were determined to grab these devil fruit and were competitive with each other, they glared at each other from the Auction rooms. The rooms had visible glass so they could clearly see each other well.

Alright, everyone, the First Item is a Devil Fruit, It is part of the Paramecia Class. The first Devil to be Auctioned is called the Speed Speed Fruit, it is as it sounds, you can move at great speeds unseen to the naked eye. The starting price is 95 Million Berries, the bidding starts now!" Fin said with a loud and proud voice.

When the next Devil fruit was sold, the money would be given to the doctors to buy medicine.

Alright, the next Devil Fruit is from the Paramecia Class as well. This fruit is called the Armor Armor Fruit, it is as it sounds. This Devil fruit can generate just about any armor, you just have to have an imagination. This fruit is quite powerful so the starting price for this one is 170 million berries, the bidding starts now." Fin said loudly, this fruit caught everyone's attention, a fruit that could generate armor!? This was to strong, wasn't it!?

The next Devil fruit is called Tattoo Tattoo Fruit, this will allow the user to use tattoo's from his or her body to fight for the user. They will come off the body of the user and take the form of how they look on you to fight, this fruit isn't that impressive so the starting price will be 40 million berries, the bidding start now!" Fin yelled out

Don't get it confused with logia, the user can't turn in to the said element. This one is quite good so the starting price is 180 million berries, bidding starts Now!!!" This cause people to gasp for breathe hearing about such a fruit, the regular people who wanted to bid didn't. They were too scared to offend these noble families and shut their mouths.

The Rosco family won the Devil fruit. they paid 410 million berries for the Fruit!! Many people felt grief, some even wanted to rob this family or the person taking it too them. They steeled their will and didn't make a move if they did they would be seeking death.

The last paramecia Devil Fruit is pretty good and it is called the Blaze Blaze Fruit. This devil fruit is just like the Zap Zap fruit except it is fire, not just any fire, but blue fire." The Devil fruit looked like a bunch of blueberries. "This is just as good as the last fruit so it will start at 180 million berries, the bids start now!" Everyone's eyes were filled with greed, some nobles were even drooling. They won't let this fruit go!!
