Chapter 17

Ragna and Law had finally arrived at their destination, the Sabaody Archipelago. The two had gone through a lot of trouble before they got here. Even the small boat they used in those early times was destroyed.

So how did they find a new ship? They were so lucky that they had a few good-hearted pirate crews willing to give their ships to them for free.

"We have arrived finally." Ragna said and then patted Law on the back and added, "It was a fun journey, right? Hahaha!"

After staggering slightly, Law looked at Ragna and said angrily, "Fun!? We almost died so many times because of you!"

Law was right in what he said, for their journey had been quite dangerous. While traveling in that small boat, a large sea king suddenly appeared and attacked them in the middle of the night.

Ragna had dealt with that sea king, but unfortunately, the little boat was destroyed. But luckily, there were good-hearted pirates nearby who helped them.

Ragna continued to walk on, not heeding his words. Their journey was quite dangerous, but of course, they both became stronger because of it. It was Law who gained the most power because he wasn't very strong before.

Law was well aware of this, so he didn't say much.

"Now will you tell me why we're here?" Law said. Ragna hadn't told him why they were going to this island this whole journey.

"We came here to meet with one of the legendary figures. But now I won't tell you who he is." Ragna said.

Then they both continued walking forward and finally arrived at the crowded parts of the island.

Ragna didn't know this island exactly, so he had to ask someone where his destination was.

Then Ragna went to a counter near and asked, "Hello, we're looking for Shakky's Rip-off Bar. Do you know where is it?"

"Maybe I know, but I can't quite remember yet." The old man said, and he has implied something with his finger.

Ragna took some money out of his pocket and as he handed it over to him, he said, "Maybe this will help you remember a little?"

The old man laughed and took the money and said, "Hihihi! Yes, I remember better now. Proceed from here to the next area. Then you will go from there to the 13th Grove."

They then proceeded to the next area, heading in the direction the old man was pointing. After they had walked for a while, Ragna suddenly grabbed Law and jumped aside.

"What happened?" Law said startled.

Ragna slightly poked his head out and looked at the person dressed as an astronaut in the far away and then he said, "There are several dangerous people ahead. We're going to stretch our way a little bit so we don't meet them."

The Celestial Dragon had only a few bodyguards and slaves with him.

When Ragna saw him, of course, he couldn't help but get angry, he wanted to kill him immediately. But he knew it was inappropriate to do such a thing right now. If he did something like that, he would most likely be caught.

That's why Ragna decided to stay away from them. He was going to take revenge on them one day anyway, even if he didn't get it now.

Law tried to see who they were, but he couldn't see that far, so he could only ask, "Who were they?"

As Ragna slowly moved in another direction, he replied, "World Government."

Then they took another road and arrived at Shakky's Rip-off Bar.

After they entered, they saw a woman with short black hair smoking a cigarette.

Ragna approached her and said, "Hello, Shakky-san right? Can I have a beer? And juice for my friend." Then they both sat on the chair.

Shakky said as prepared the drinks, "Yes, I'm Shakky. You must be Ragna too. Masked Ragna, right?" She then placed the drinks she had prepared in front of them.

After taking a sip of his drink, Ragna said, "I'm surprised you remember me even though it's been so long since my bounty."

"You are a very mysterious person. You were the only human in the Sun Pirates. But then you broke up with them. You are really interesting." Shakky said and as looked at Law, she added "Well, who is this kid?"

"He is my friend. I've been traveling with him for a while. Also, do you know any coating mechanic?" Ragna said.

"Just the two of you going?" Shakky said. Would only two people go on such a dangerous journey? Also, one of these was a kid.

"Yes, I have full confidence in ourselves." Ragna said.

"Well, it's your decision in the end. There is someone I know, I can introduce you to him when he comes. And I can guarantee you that he's pretty good at his job as well." Shaky said.

Ragna took a money pouch out of his clothes and placed it on the table. Then he said, "Thank you for your help."

The money in the pouch was quite a lot for a normal drink. But Ragna knew that this bar was expensive. In addition, he had also given more money for goodwill.

Shakky smiled and picked up the pouch from the table. She would always prefer to make money so peacefully.

A short time later, the door to the bar opened and an old man with long white hair walked in.

Shakky said, "Hey, Ray! You have a new customer."
