6. Battle Against Aokiji

After 8 Months of wholly training and exploring Foolshout Island Darren prepared himself to depart, he grew abit taller standing at 6'2 now.

Standing infront of a tree, Darren had his eyes closed, he then coated his right arm in haki as it turned black. A blue aura surrounded his arm as he punched out without touching the tree.

*BANG*

The tree burst open as it's insides blasted out in all directions, "pheww, I've become quite the user in ryou, it's definitely different to just using emission" Darren said looking at his fist.

"Now it's time to leave, Kuraigana Island is the nearest, but I know Dracule Mihawk lives there."

"It'd be a dumb idea to go there…".

"I'm going", Darren wanted to see how he'd fare against one of the strongest characters in the world, mind you his attainments in haki wasn't something to laugh at, he had advanced observation haki, advanced armament haki with him being able to use ryou now.

And his conqueror's haki was even stronger than 4 months ago. Also his devil fruit mastery went up even more with him creating two ultimate abilities during his stay at Foolshout Island.

(Author note- current power of MC (56) his a high admiral now with the addition of ryou.)

"Even if I lose, it'll be a hard fought battle for Mihawk, he will definitely come out with injuries hehe".

Darren then sat on his boat as he set off sail. "I wonder what'll be the government and marines reactions after my battle with Mihawk".

"They'll definitely increase my bounty" Darren looked down at a paper that had a dead or wanted poster, "atleast I look cool".

In the picture Darren stood with his robe and hair swaying in the air surrounded by his devil fruit powers.

"They got this right for sure" chuckling he put the paper down and picked up a news paper with the title "Pirate Kills Celestial Dragon!!".

Darren feeling something coming into contact with his observation haki looked up, he saw a man riding a bicycle on a froze path heading his direction.

"Lol, guess I have to get through him first" Darren then got up, leaping into the sky as he submerged his boat in water freezing it and landing on top of the sea walking across the frozen steps he made.

Aokiji already felt his presence but continued cycling towards him, as they got closer they both came to a standstill. "Are you here for me?".

"Truthfully, no it's a coincidence that we ran across each other" Aokiji replied.

"Oh really? Then let's keep it as a coincidence".

"But…, since I've come across you now and your a criminal who has killed Nobles i would've been assigned to you anyway,so today I'll arrest you". Darren then scoffed as he sent a barrage of snow bullets.

Aokiji sent a barrage of ice bullets countering the snow bullets. Darren then started sprinted at him with Aokiji getting of the bike and sprinting as well.

"Snow Fist" Darren's right hand became solid as he punched Aokiji's guts, his fist passed through as Aokiji became intangible.

Aokiji sent a kick aiming at his right shoulder but he also passed through, Darren's left hand became coated in haki surrounded by a layer of coldness" Yuki-Gosenmaigawara Seiken!"

*BOOM*

Aokiji put his arms in a X postion as he knew intangibility wouldn't work, his hand turned black as he added haki for further protection.

But Darren Seiken was a too strong as it landed heavily, he threw up a mouthful of blood skidding across the surface of the sea.

"Samegawara Seiken!" Another attack came his way giving him no rest.

(Aokiji's POV)

'Damn, this kid is ridiculously powerful, the punch hurt!'. He then looked up seeing a plam shockwave coming towards him as it disturbed the clam sea, 'shit!, it's also using my body's water!', Aokiji then quickly froze his body.

He then punched out with advanced haki emission, colliding with the palm shockwave, "Gaint pheasant" a giant bird flew towards Darren, he also froze the surrounding ocean.

He then sped towards Darren as he directly used emission.

(Darren's POV)

'His directly using emission looks like his serious might aswell get serious too'.

Darren then used emission as the both clashed without touching, the shockwave of the clash broke the froze sea and created tide waves, killing the surrounding fish and sea monsters.

This shocked Aokiji as he couldn't believe a kid could be this powerful. Darren then continued to clash with Aokiji as they both sent ice and snow abilities at each other giving each other minor injuries.

As the battle continued Aokiji realised he couldn't overpower him and he thought of the kids bounty which was a measly 260 million berries.

'His bounty should be way higher!'.

The battle started changing the surrounding sea as the sea levels started raising with more sea monsters and sea life dying. "Ice Block Partisan!".

A spear made out of ice hurdled towards Darren as he quickly created a snow wall, but the ice spear easily tore through it heading straight for his heart. Darren punch straight at the ice spear as it froze in the distance breaking apart.

Darren then coated his leg as he dashed towards Aokiji sending a kick sweep with Aokiji dodging it. Darren smiled "Nanasenmaigawara Mawashigeri!" A roundhouse kick landing on Aokiji face sending him flying into an ice bolder.

*BOOM* *CRACK*

The bolder broke with Aokiji soon coming out of it injured even more. Aokiji silently looked at Darren as he said "Ice Time".

'Shit!, I should've thought of this ability!' Darren lamented as Aokiji appeared infront him send a kick coated with Haki straight to his face.

*Whoosh* *CRACK*

"Ackhh!", Darren felt an unbelievable amount of pain at his jaw, then soon felt another sharp pain from his back as smashed through a couple ice bolders.

Getting up he catched his breath as he slightly exhaled a breath of cold air, looking at Aokiji in the distance he walked towards him "mann that was one hell of a kick" Darren said wiping the hit of blood at the corner of his mouth.

He then stuck his hands out as he said "Great Avalanche!", from all directions a torrent of solid snow and ice in all type of shapes and forms made their way towards Aokiji.
