“Oh, well I am leaving now,” Old Mr. Collins suddenly said as he stood up and looked at Alice with a smile.
“Alice, you are welcome to go to my place at any time. And won’t worry, I will arrange everything for the wedding. Feel free to tell me if you need anything.”
Alice couldn’t say a word and could only watch Old Mr. Collins leave. After old Mr. Collins left, Zayden and Alice looked at each other. I will drive you home later,” Zayden said.
Alice wanted to refuse, but on second thought, she didn’t do that.
She wanted to make their relationship clear to Zayden and it was better to talk with him alone in the car than in the house where the maids and the butler were around.
Soon, the car was driven out of Kingsford Neighbourhood. And the atmosphere in the car was a little dull.
Lowering her head, Alice played with her phone and browsed the news on Facebook. But to be honest, she was absent-minded.
“Should we turn right at the next intersection?” Zayden asked her naturally.
