During break period, Lucy and Becky was in library reading but Lucy couldn't concentrate on her book 📖
"seriously, am tired of this game" Lucy complained dropping her books
Becky just turned looking at Lucy with her left eye
That's to say that Lucy was sitting at her left hand side
"what are you talking about?" Becky responded
"it's not up-to one week and you are already getting tired" Becky added faking angry face
"you won't understand, it hurts me seeing him like that" Lucy said as her face keeps changing like she was about to cry
"see, if you really want Mark to be yours, you need to make him jealous, so that he would get to learn how to keep distance from ladies" Becky said placing her hand on her shoulder
"can't you see that he's getting along with Rita" Lucy paused
"I know it earlier that Rita has eyes on Mark but couldn't get opportunity, but now, am trying to give it to her" Lucy added making Becky to withdraw her hand from Lucy's shoulder
"if he truly loves you, he will not leave you, let's take this up to two weeks" Becky said
"This heart is not a concrete floor, how do you expect someone to play with your heart and you will still love him back, it's not possible" Lucy said
"if he gets heartbroken, then he will hate me forever and that's the last thing I would stand" Lucy added
"so what's your plan? Are you going to dump James?" Becky asked
"we aren't dating, so what do you mean by dumping him?" Lucy returned the question
"you and I know that James loves you, are you going to forsake it?" Becky asked but got no response
"you know that Mark is every ladies man, he could possibly be a player but James, he's the best, from the look, you would see that he can't use you to play"
"have Mark ever asked you out?" Lucy asked but Becky shook her head negatively
"then stop accusing him, I felt more hurt than him anytime he saw me with James" Lucy confessed
"since James is the best, why don't you go for him or don't you deserved to be loved?"
Becky couldn't find her voice again as she kept mute

Later after the break period, in the class, James and Lucy sat as usual
Lucy was just checking out when Mark would show up but it seems not coming
"I have something very important to tell you now" Lucy later got the courage to say after waiting for so many times for it
"oh that would be interesting Miss Beauty, please go on my princess" James said but Lucy waited for some minutes to gather the second courage while James was busy looking at her
"if you want my friendship, then you have to apologize and make Mark your friend" Lucy managed to say
"anything for you my princess" James replied softening Lucy's heart
That was Lucy's weak point 'being petted'
and James discovered it that first day they went to the school cafeteria with Mark
Although he wasn't certained, so he had to confirm it from Becky
"But Mark in question haven't been to class since morning he left" James added seeing that his trick was working on her
"he couldn't stand it, likewise me, that's why he left" Lucy replied
"but I only know one place he would be" Lucy added
"where?"
"Not now, just accept that you will apologize first" Lucy said
"of course, I will, my Miss Beauty" James replied smiling although it wasn't from his heart
"Excuse me for some minutes Miss Beauty" James said raising one of his fingers up 👆 while Lucy nodded as she looked at the door hoping to see Mark
"There's another problem here" James said with a low voice to avoid others to hear that as he sat beside Phillip
"what's it?"
"my trick didn't work, Lucy wants me to apologize to Mark and become friends with him"
"are you going to accept that rubbish?" Phillip asked
"I have to, if I really want to see Mark downfall" James replied still maintaining their low voice
"Then, there will be change of plans" Phillip said while James nodded as he draw himself closer to Philip

Mark and Mikhail were still in the hall reading
In maths, after Mark then it would be Mikhail
They became friends after a competition they had in which Mark won
So since then, they became friends and that was because Mikhail doesn't keep malice
Throughout their reading, Mark acted well but Mikhail still noticed what was going on
He had to find a way to get rid of that thing that was disturbing Mark
"so have is your new babe?" Mikhail asked thinking that maybe he should start from there
"who are you talking about, because I can't remember discussing such with you" Mark said opening his books continuously although he doesn't have anything in mind that he was searching but just to pretend
"am talking about Rita" Mikhail replied as he waited for his reaction but Mark just smiled
"are you not aware that am in relationship?" Mark asked looking at him but Mikhail didn't say a word because he knew that if he dare opens his mouth, what would have came would be only James trying to take over Lucy
"even Rita in question once said to me that what she was after was to finish her education first, she doesn't have time for relationships stuff" Mark added
Mikhail himself had known that Rita loved Mark but she doesn't want to act cheap before him that's she was always on her own
"that means, you have asked her out?" Mikhail asked showing that it was the only thing he grabbed from what Mark said
"how would you think of that? We had this conversation yesterday, just to help me free my mind" Mark said as he faced his book
"That means you aren't that attractive" Mikhail said
Mark couldn't help it but laughed
"decision differs" Mark tried explaining things to him
"can we go on a bet for this?" Mikhail asked stretching out his hand
He know that once Mark started being close to Rita, then he would definitely going to be getting Lucy off his mind
"how do you mean?" Mark returned the question
"I bet you, you can never get Rita to fall for you" Mikhail replied making Mark to smile
"how do you expect me to go on a bet with you on that when you know that am in a relationship?" Mark had to ask still laughing
"stop that, you know that James is already with Lucy" Mikhail said but Mark still smiled
He knows that James was just up to something
"even at that, she is still my girlfriend, I still need to let her know about my intention" Mark replied
"That's not matured, remember Lucy didn't inform you before she started hanging out with James, this is just a game" Mikhail said
"what if she later falls, I don't like playing with people's feelings" Mark said imagining it when she falls
"you're smart, so when you noticed it, then escape"
"so how will you know that I won?" Mark asked
"that one is left for me" Mikhail replied
Mikhail intention was just to make Mark free his mind from Lucy
Mark had to start thinking
"it doesn't make sense, but don't worry, I have my own way" Mark said while Mikhail smiled at least he accepted
"I accept the bet" Mark added as they hits their hands together
Just then, Lucy walked in
"sorry for interrupting" Lucy said as she stood not making a move while Mark nodded
"Mark, I have something to discuss with you" she added looking from Mark to Mikhail, then from him back to Mark
"go on" Mark replied politely
Lucy stretched out her hand towards the left hand side and meant to say something when James walked in
Mark was just looking at them surprisedly but James smiled and walked up to him
James didn't say but he went ahead and hugged Mark then whispers
"why don't you pick this challenge?"
