"Okay then I approve, let the boy spend sometime with normal children for once in his life" Olivia said
"I do too but David do you want to go with them as well? "
"I neither need to learn nor do I need to master control of my abilities, but my presence could benefit a lot in many ways so yes"
"Just stop the future seeing thing, I am asking my son not some oracle, do you want to go"
"Yes, mom, I think it will be fun" David replied with a smile
"Okay then, we would return tomorrow to come pick you up, you can take this time to pack up"
"Okay then, we will see you tomorrow and thank you for all you have done for us" The man of the house said as he led the two out of the family house.
"No, we have to thank you for taking care of him as you have, there are families who have sold their children due to the child's abilities" Charles said before leaving the house.
As soon as he walked out, he turned to look at his people who were surprised by his current state. None of them could believe what they were seeing but Charles simply smiled and began walking towards the car.
"I see you are enjoying your new legs" Erik said
"Of course I am, for nearly 10 years now, I have only imagined such things in my mind" Charles replied with a smile.
"You win this time, Charles… I believe this one needs to be under your care, if he comes with me… I believe I will lead him down a dark path none of us will survive from" Erik said as he joined his men who were all standing by the side.
"But you don't have to, we both could raise him to become what we couldn't and achieve what we cant"
"Forget me Charles, you won't find that hope you are looking for" Erik replied before a hand was placed on his shoulder and the entire group teleported away.
"At least I tried" Charles muttered as his former wheelchair was put into the trunk of the car and they all got in and drove away.
"I am guessing this was his ability? " A man who looked to be in his early thirties asked.
The man wearing a set of baggy clothes and a pair of glasses, sat at the staring wheel as he marveled at his friends recovering.
"Surprisingly, no, his true ability seems to be more terrifying than that" Charles replied
"Well then, at least Jean will be happy we found another one like her" The man said as he continued driving
"He may probably be able to help her as well, who knows" Charles replied as a smile bloomed on his face and his eyes sparkled.
….
"Okay David, let's go pack your things" Sharon said as she stood up from her seat
"Mom you'll be late for your interview, you still have an hour to make it" David reminded
"Oh that's true, okay… I'll go prepare for that, Pa can you help him pack his things for school" Sharon said as she ran up to prepare
"He can tell the future down to a T, he knows what he needs in school" Olivia shouted
As soon as they left, the house became chaotic again as they all went about their business. David on the other hand simply went to his room to start packing.
He didn't have any hope of them helping, his mother was late and his grandparents were just reunited so everyone had their own thing going on.
