Margaret's POV
The next day, Jacob and I went to the shelter, and it was the first time I had seen such a large building.
It was very similar to a university. It had dormitories, classrooms, sports fields, medical rooms, reading rooms, cafeterias, and clubs.
"Good morning, Alpha Jacob." As we entered the shelter, people who were walking or exercising stopped to greet him.
The atmosphere between them was so calm and peaceful that it didn't seem like victors and captives but rather friends.
He took me to the office, and after looking through the basic information, I found that most of the werewolves here were low-ranking.
"Are all these people really captives?" I couldn't help but ask as I was shocked at how well they were being treated.
"Except for a very small number of staff, all the rest are." Jacob smiled at me.
