"Her hair is the shiniest I have ever seen... and she is so beautiful mama..." An awed voice penetrated through the darkness clouding Neveah's mind.
Just like that, the darkness slowly faded away, as did the numb feeling and Neveah felt a terrible ache in her skull.
Though Neveah's lids felt heavy and she could not force them open no matter how hard she tried,
The pain and aches Neveah felt all over were enough to tell her this was not the afterlife, there was also the sounds from all around her, piercing her sensitive ears and aggravating the aches in her head.
'I lived?' Neveah thought to herself in surprise.
"Hush Ro...she is waking up!" Another voice reprimanded in a low whisper.
Neveah winced, that whisper sounded much too loud in Neveah's ears and she groaned quietly.
