Longevity Valley

In Nine Serenities, some secret dimensions or secret realms can be found.

These secret dimensions contains Cultivation resources and any time they open many powers will send their members and elders in to look for opportunities.

Longevity Valley is one of such secret dimensions, the entrance to the Longevity Valley is located at the southern part of the Dynasty and it opens every 100 years.

Everytime the Valley opens Cultivators from all over Nine Serenities come to enter looking for Opportunities.

Although the Valley is located within the Dynasty but as one of the biggest secret realm in Nine Serenities the Dynasty could not monopolize it and had to allow those from outside the Dynasty to enter.

There is even a legend that says that the Longevity Valley has been existing before the Dynasty was Founded.

Another major point about the Valley is that anytime the Valley opens three out of the

"Four Mysterious Masters" will gather. These three are the Blacksmith Masters, Pill Masters and Beast Taming Masters.

The Longevity Valley is know for it Special type of Ore and Metal that Blacksmith Masters needs in forging, infact it is even said that most materials needed for forging Heaven Grade Artifact are gotten from the Valley.

Artifacts or weapons are from low to high are graded into: Yellow Grade, Black Grade, Earth Grade, Heaven Grade, King Grade and Saint Grade, and each grade is further divided into Low Tier, Middle Tier and High Tier.

Many Medicinal Herbs can also be found in the Valley, and the maturity years of these Herbs ranges from at 1,000 years to over 100,000 years. And like Blacksmith Masters, Pill Masters also gather many materials for refining Heaven Grade and above grades Pills from the Valley.

So everytime the Valley opens many Pill Masters and Blacksmith Masters tend to go there looking for an Ore, a Metal or Certain Herbs.

Another Peculiar thing about the Valley is what is known as "Longevity Beast" , some even believe that the Valley got it name from that.

Normally the Cultivation levels of Spirit Beast is divided into 1st rank Spirit Beast to 9th rank Spirit Beast, but the Cultivation levels of the Spirit Beast in the Longevity Valley is different. In fact the Spirit Beast in the Valley are referred to as Longevity Beast their Cultivation level is determined by number of years.

For example, 10 years old Longevity Beast, 100 years old Longevity Beast, 1,000 years old Longevity Beast, e.t.c.

So anytime the Valley opens Beast Taming Masters also enter the hoping to tame powerful Longevity Beast.

When the News about the Opening of the Longevity Valley spread through all of Nine Serenities many powers decided to send powerful delegations to the Valley.

For the past few days many flying Ships and Cultivators have been heading towards the Southern part of the Dynasty and with the Valley set to open within the next three days today is not an exception.

When a Cultivator reach the Spirit Origin Realm they can fly through the air, so apart from just normal fly some Spirit Skills have been created to aid in flight and make it more convenient.

One if such Spirit Skill is known as "Flying Cloud Carpet". this skill require a Cultivator to use their Spirit Essences to creat a cloud at their feet and controlling it to fly.

But This Skill has a major drawback which is it's speed which is very slow compared to normal flying and other flying skills. But despite this drawback it's still very popular among Cultivators, because unlike normal flying that one need to stand during the process, one can sit on the cloud carpet while flying.

Currently a Cloud Carpet can been seeing flying towards the Longevity Valley and on top the of cloud carpet two people can be seen seating and eating from a hot pot between them.

This is Meng Hao and Li Chan who has Left the Blue Cloud County.

That night after leaving his father office, Meng Hao decided to meditate through out the night, when he ended his meditation the next day he discovered his father has already left.

So after leaving a large sum of money to the old servant in the villa he also left with Li Chan and it has been few days since then.

Meng Hao has visited some Prefectures on his way here and has been has seen many new things.

Meng Hao who was currently picking meat from the hot pot suddenly raised head and looked at the horizon were a flying ship was heading towards their location.

He turned his head away after looking for a few seconds, many of such flying ship have been flying past them for a while now because of the speed of the Cloud Carpet, since the Valley still has three days to open he is not in a hurry.

Unlike the other Flying ships that has been passing them since morning, this particular one was heading straight towards them at full speed not intend to deviate at all.

Seeing this Meng Hao couldn't help but frown, in other not block the path of flying Ships that are passing, their cloud carpet was flying at a low altitude, he couldn't help but think if those in the ship is doing it deliberately.

Meng Hao is right in his thought, in the ship currently their some youngster around the age of 16 to 20 years gathered in the main hall of the Ship and an old man can been seen controlling the ship.

This ship is known as Spirit Ship created by both the Blacksmith Masters and Spirit Rune Masters, the Blacksmith Masters forge the body of the Ship while Spirit Rune Masters write the Rune inscriptions in the ship

The ship is controlled by a Spiritual Array and you be need to insert Essences Crystal in the Array for the ship to fly.

In the Ship the old man who was controlling the ship turned and said to a young man behind him.

"Young Master Wu are you sure we should fly straight for those two in front, you must know that for a Cultivator to fly they will be at least in the Spirit Origin Realm",

" Old Hong you don't have to worry, for those guys to be flying using the cloud carpet they must in be independent Cultivators who don't have a powerful force behind them, and besides the First Elder is with us what is there to fear".

After saying this the young man turn to look at the other youngster at the bridge of the ship thinking.

**I have been looking for a way to show them my prestige and the power of the Wu Clan, I guess i will use those two guys in front then**.

The Wu Clan is one of Powerful Family in the Soaring Cloud Dynasty and is one of top Families in the Army Camp of the Dynasty having produce many Generals.

Apart from the the members of the Wu Clan on the ship there are those from other families in the Capital as well, and this Young Master Wu whose full name is Wu Jiu is one of the Genius of the Wu Clan in the younger generation.

Apart Wu Jiu they are other genius from Wu Clan so he is trying to build a prestige among the other smaller Clans in the capital hoping for their support when it's time to fight for the position of the Wu Clan Successor.

Meng Hao who was on the Cloud Carpet have since spread his perception and heared what Wu Jiu Said.

His face turn cold and decided to act first, he raised his hand forming a palm strike, above the ship cloud gathered and a golden palm was formed.

When a Cultivator reach the Spirit Origin Realm they can feel Heaven and Earth and enter a state known as Heaven and Earth with Man as one.

With that a Cultivator can borrow the might of heaven and earth when fighting, that is what Meng Hao just did. Although it is a casual attack without a Spirit Skill but the power He injected into the Attack rival a strike from a Dragon Ascension Realm Cultivator.

Old Hong who was controlling the ship suddenly felt the Changes outside and shouted, "Not Good", and quickly activated the Spirit Arrays on the Ship.

A Silver coloured shield appeared covering the Ship after which the Golden Palm fell and was blocked by the shield, Old Hong showed a relief look but then there was a 'crack' sound and the Shield began to shatter.

"Who"

Suddenly a powerful Aura came out from a room within the ship and at the same time an attack was sent out cancelling the palm strike.

After that an Old Man appeared on the bridge of the ship. Looking out he saw two people on a cloud carpet not too far in front of the ship.

From the cloud carpet he can feel the Aura of the person that just attacked. with a thought he disappeared and appeared outside the ship.

With a cold look he looked and Meng Hao and Li Chan and said,

"Who are you and why are you Attacking us?"

Hearing this Meng Hao sneered before answering,

" Your ship was clearly heading straight to hit us and you are asking why am Attacking"

"If you guys don't leave a compensation then you will not be leaving here today". Meng Hao continued.

" What Bold Words, I guess will have to see how you will make us stay" the Old Man responded.

Hearing this, without saying anything more a Black Blade appeared in Meng Hao hand and without wasting time attacked while saying,

"If you can withstand three strike of my blade then I will consider this matter over".

The Spirit skill Meng Hao was about to use us known as Heaven Splitting Art.

"First Split, Split The Earth"

With this strike a black beam of blade essences with power threatening to split the earth erupted from the blade heading towards the old man.

Seeing the attack the old man retaliated, one of his hand formed into a shape of a claw

Wu Six Variations: Golden Eagle Variation he shouted.

When the Claw strike and the blade beam collided there was no earth shattering sound, the blade beam split the claw strike into two and headed for the Old Man.

Seeing this the Old Man shouted again

"Black Tortoise Variation", with that Spirit Essences gathered in front of him and turned into a black shield.

The beam collided with the shield and after a few standoff the shield won and the beam died out.

The Old Man release a sigh of relief but saw Meng Hao ready for another strike and shouted

"fellow Daoist wait".....
