I sigh in relief immediately as I step into our apartment. Home is definitely where the heart lies. Even though I haven't been home for days now, nothing feels off.
I am still trying to plan how to navigate through the rest of my day in my mind when Michael enters the living room with a traveling bag and a red veil.
He catches me narrowing my eyes at the veil and chuckles.
"What is that for?"
He continues giggling, ignoring my question. After setting the bag on the center table, he turns to face me again.
"Do you really want to know?"
The excitement lingering in his voice and the way his eyes are twinkling mischievously make me sit up on the couch with interest.
"Of course, I want to know. What's with the bag too?"
He signals for me to wait. Then he puts his hand in his back pocket. When he brings it out, two flight tickets are dangling in his hand.
"What do the three clues tell you?"
