"Just kidding, guys. I just got carried away.'

And there is no way someone as beautiful as Ms. Cristina would fall for me. Although I am a nobody, I am not as good-looking enough as Austin. Saying the truth does not mean I am downgrading myself or being a so-called 'sadboy' in Filipino terms. Sometimes admitting the truth can be called 'maturity.' And that right there is my opinion folks.

"Thanks, Ms. Cristina. You look good too. Well, as usual. Haha."

Sincerely, I said.

"Aren't you forgetting something, Esecleus?"

"Forgetting something...? Oh, right. The seating plan had changed temporarily. I forgot."

Small things like this, I tend to forget. Also if it is nonsensical things, I would not remember something trivial.

"Hahaha, that's new."

Even Ms. Cristina's laugh is a class of her own. Not one of those guffawing reactions, a well-mannered laugh from her.
