Chapter 100

My shadow blended with darkness looming behind the trees while I peacefully trotted aimlessly around the forest. Despite the risk that can come on my front door, here I am trying to meet my end before it could even reach the doorstep.

Whilst tightly holding the hammer in my right hand, with anxiety running a course inside my mind, I thoroughly searched all over the north part of the forest. And to my disappointment, I found nothing, which resulted in vain. My effort went down the drain, only draining my stamina for half an hour wandering all over with a weapon in my hand.

I neglected Ira's advice of not coming here alone and went on my way to gather more proof to let everyone know that we are not the only inhabitants of the man-made island. There are also other unknown skin walkers living here and blending in with us without our knowledge.
