Tate had no fear inside him. He was fully ready to participate in the state tournament.
After participating in fixed matches for three years, Tate was excited he would be participating in a real match for the second time, and he would be going up against the best of the best.
That alone was making him eager to enter the arena of the state tournament right away, knowing that he would get to do whatever he wants, and how he wants it without being told by somebody in the back room.
These things were making Tate super excited, and most importantly, He was eager to fight for his dreams, to fight for his freedom.
Wyatt could tell there was no trail of fear in Tate tone, Tate had always been like that since day one, he was super confident, but that doesn't mean he was competent. He was just some martial artist that hasn't seen the whole arena yet, that does know how the world of martial artist works.
Wyatt finally turned to face Tate.
