Author's POV
Amber was scanning the classroom with her eyes, but there was no sign of the sheet.
"10 minutes till you submit." The teacher said, staring at the sand clock.
Sweat started forming on Amber's forehead. She didn't know what to do.
She put her head on her desk and looked at the other students who were busy writing. She was going to fail the physics examination.
Xavier was staring at her, wondering why she was acting sick when he had given her all the answers she needed.
"What is wrong with you, honey? Are you sick?" The teacher inquired as he walked closer to Amber, who was raising her head.
"I am not sick, I just felt dizzy." She muttered.
"It's alright, darling." The teacher said as he stood in front of her.
Amber fixed her eyes on the sheet and started answering the questions, spading the options she thought were the right answers.
"Submit!" The teacher exclaimed, it was too sudden. She hasn't been able to answer up to fifty questions. Mason took his answer sheet from a brilliant student and started taking all the answer sheets from the students. He got to Amber's seat and hit his hand on her desk.
"Just a few more minutes." She muttered, shading like a robot.
"Sorry girl, rules are rules." He commented and snatched the sheet from her.
Nate quickly handed his sheet to him as Mason walked away.
Amber took off her face cap and dropped it on her desk as Mason walked out of the class with the teacher.
"Hey, Amber! Take back your paper." Nate said, handing her back the paper Xavier gave her.
Amber took it from him and opened her mouth wide in surprise.
"How could you do that to me? You know, I am not that good at physics, and yet you took my answers without giving them back to me." Amber snapped, glaring at him.
Nate stood up from his seat and looked into her eyes.
"Stop raising your voice at me. You started it. You were the one that gave my phone to Mason. " Nate commented.
Amber battled her lashes. She couldn't believe what he did to her. She would probably fail the physics exam.
She was trying to control her temper, but she couldn't. She clenched her fists and stared at him like a fire-breathing dragon.
"I hate you!" She yelled and pounced on him, dragging his hair, when Xavier grabbed her by the waist and carried her in his arms.
"Let me go. I must teach him a lesson. He is a lunatic!" Amber grunted, hitting Xavier on the chest. She was heartbroken that Nate, her only friend, had betrayed her when he knew the circumstances in which she did what she did to him.
"Calm down, Amber, your anger can't boil a cup of water." Xavier whispered, looking down at her, and all the students' attention went to them.
"Drop me down. I can walk on my feet." Amber protested.
