Chapter 27

Harlow was sitting on a chair and waiting for the guys who were lying on the floor to gain consciousness .

"Why are they awake yet? Did you use too much drug in the fog? " Asked Harlow in a worried yet domineering tone.

"No my Lady, we used the appropriate amount of drug. They must be able to gain consciousness in around 10 to 15 minutes" Said a young lad who looked more mature by face than his age.

And precisely after 10 to 15 minutes Amelia and Ember started frowning and opening and closing eyes to get rid of the dizziness. Ajax also moved and sat up trying to understand where he is while pressing his forehead for the slight pain in head. Harlow saw them getting up and unknowingly released a sigh of relief.

"Where are we? The fog... " Said Ajax in a weak voice and frantically saw where his friends are and sighed a relief after seeing them lying on the floor. Seeing where he was, Ajax's eyes feel on Harlow who was sitting on a chair but her weak, fragile appearance had totally changed . She was looking so domineering and it looked like she could command the general of the city to marry a grandmother who works at her house. Well, that was what either Ajax's thoughts were telling him or it was the effect of the drug that he was having such weird thoughts.

"Why? " Asked Ajax looking at Harlow with anger now gaining control over his body as the drug's effect was weakening.

"Uhh.. What why? " Asked Harlow showing a confused face.

"My brother is asking that even when we all treated you good and like a friend why are we all present here tied up? " Asked Xander while sitting up and giving a deadly glare towards Harlow . Everyone went silent upon hearing the deep voice which was filled with anger.

"I HATE people who try Or hurt my friends and family" Said Xander in a deep voice.

"Uhh.. Umm... See I have my valid reasons to do this" Said Harlow while looking here and there.

" Well, tell us now. What is your reason? Asked Cole also sitting up beside Xander.

" My scorpion had a accident and he poisoned himself, the poison backfired and only the lionfish gang had the cure, so when I demanded they made a deal and I had to agree but i never intended to harm any of you. Really"said Harlow while showing her little scorpion who had glittering tiny bead size eyes, greenish-white glassy body.

"Okay, I believe you. Then how are you going to bring justice? We also want to see" Said Cole and till that time Ajax, Amelia and Ember had gained consciousness fully.

"Yes, and i will. Now tell me why did you raid lionfish base and why hurt their men? " Asked Harlow while folding hands and her dominant aura coming back.

"For that? For that you caught us?. Ridiculous!! " Said Cole in a little loud voice which send shudders to the lionfish gang as they were reminded of the strong punches and kicks they had taken from Cole.

"Calm down! I was poisoned and they all helped me to obtain the antidote. And coincidentally only the lionfish had the antidote, the same case as that of your scorpion. Don't you think your scorpion's poison backfired at the most accurate timing. " Said Xander now opening the ropes and sighing while throwing the ropes away at the foot if lionfish gang members. Cole also removed his rope and helped the others untie. Xander went closer to Harlow who was thinking deeply while frowning.

"You are right, my scorpio never had any backfired before this gang came to our house!! " Said Harlow now looking angrily towards the lionfish gang.

"Ahh... Coincidence is a thing , my lady. .. " Said the head of the lionfish gang -Ralph.

And then took out a gun which he pressed and a creamy smoke started spreading.

"This is a poison. Cover your mouth, quick" Said Harlow and all of them covered their mouth. Then Harlow from her necklace summoned her weapon - a 'shan'- a traditional Chinese folding fan. And then with one swish, the fog dissipated.

"You wanted to take advantage of me. Do you think you can bully me just because I am a girl. No one in my whole family can fight with me. And you dared to poison me and them! No self awareness exist in you!! " Said Harlow and sharply threw the fan in the direction of Ralph which made a sharp cut on his arm , returned back to Harlow and blood gushed out. Then she gaev another shot and this time precisely at the neck of Ralph. Ralph barely dodged it by inch. The other lionfish gang members became more furious as their leader was being attacked by a girl.

"A girl trying to kill our boss. How dare you!! " Said John the second head of the lionfish gang.

The lionfish gang were ready to attack together when they froze in mid-air. Others were shocked, Xander made a knowing face look while Harlow got afraid a little and made fan disappear into her spiritual green necklace.

"Who dares to use poison in my area?!! I wanna see how much guts he has when he faces me? " Asked an old man dressed up in a white strips shirt, dark green long coat and red eye snake brooch on his chest side.

"MASTER!! " Said all the men and women standing in the room and bowed down and then looked at the old man with eyes full of respect. Xander gave a small sly smile while Cole looked a little shocked by seeing him while the others confused on who is this old man whom everybody called Master.

"Tell me, who used the poison? And who are these bunch of fools doing here? " Asked old man and looking like at the lionfish gang with a deadly glare.

"Umm.. Master we were just asking her to repay us" Said Ralph in a low voice and wiping the sweat on his forehead.

"Ohh.. Repay!! Harlow! Repay him what he owe to you! Now" Said the old man.

"Yes, grandpa here it is" Said Harlow and she threw her small scorpion same as before but smaller than size of hand. The scorpion landed on the shoulder of another gang member -Liam a thin, skinny with a long face and crooked nose.

"Ahhhh.... It's a scorpion. Remove it!! Remove it! ! Shouted Liam while jumping like crazy.

" What is the problem now! You tried to poison her and now she is repaying it. In that also you have some problem!! "Asked the old man. Ralph and the others denied and went away from their after Harlow took her scorpion from Liam's shoulder.

The old man then diverted his attention towards Ajax and the others. And his eyes widened at seeing a particular one.

"Little Zelig, what brings you here? " Asked the old man totally changing his tone from harsh to loving tone with a smiling face.

"Hello, Sir... I also did not expect you to meet in this situation " Said Xander being very polite and bowed a little.

"How many times should I tell you Zelig, don't call me Sir. Call me grandpa. I would like it very much to hear from you" Said the old man making everyone present there gasp in surprise.

"And I have told you that I won't, Sir. " Said Xander politely.

"Okay, I don't want to argue on that matter. Now tell me the reason for your visit? Facing any problem? " Asked the old man.

"The reason for my visit... Ummm... It's better if someone else says it" Said Xander and looked in the direction of Harlow.

Harlow looked tensed and was fiddling with her fingers and looking down.

"Let's first go into a private room, shall we? " Said the old Windsor and everyone followed behind him like a train.

"Now Harlow, tell grandpa the truth? Why were Zelig and his friends here? Abs what was the lionfish gang doing at my place?

Oh no... Now what. I thought that I can take care of this matter . It was very simple fir me - save my scorpio, punish the bad guys and done. But now my grandpa -Mr. Harold Windsor also known as The poison master, is asking me about all the ruckus I caused. I really should not have trusted that lionfish gang. What will grandpa do now? Will he punish me?.....
